Very friendly owners & staff. They made us feel at home from the moment we entered. We loved our room with beautiful classic touches. The bed was super comfortable and the room has a Nespresso machine, which we like for our morning coffee. The restaurant is superbe; very much recommended (also with a few delicious vegetarian & vegan options). Breakfast was indulging. Compliments to the Chef and his/her team ♥️ Ambiance is great! Lots of eye for detail and subtle touches of romance every where. We were here in wintertime, which is very cosy and for sure summertime here must be wonderful too, with the lake only a few steps away (3-5 minute walk). Made our morning walk before breakfast and enjoyed the views and crispy air in the early morning sun. We are looking forward to come back soon!

Staff are excellent. Top notch customer service. Location across from train station meant we were in Zurich within 15 mins. View of the lake is beautiful and a nice way to wake up. Breakfast is excellent and overall a high quality experience. Would absolutely stay again. Quick walk to shops, drugstores, and groceries.

Each time I come, I enjoy staying at Kloster Kappel! The staff are warm, welcoming, and friendly and make their guests feel right at home. The facilities are top-notch: everything is always sparkling clean, the rooms are cosy and the beds are very comfortable. The location is simply stunning. Set in a peaceful and safe area, the views of the surrounding landscape were breathtaking and added to the overall sense of tranquility. It’s the perfect place to relax and unwind.     Horgen is a charming little village, lovely to walk around. It has a quaint centre and a beautiful waterfront. Easy travel into Zurich by train. Easy travel to mountains and skiing by train or car. Good supermarkets with good opening hours. We didn’t try the restaurants as we were visiting relatives but we did get a great takeaway - burritos. You can even swim in Lake Zurich by walking down to the waterside at various points. Great.

    We had an amazing stay! The apartment is very spacious, beautifully designed and equipped with all the amenities you might need. Everything was spotless and well maintained, making it feel immediately welcoming. The highlight was definitely the stunning view – truly breathtaking! The location is also excellent: peaceful and relaxing, yet conveniently close to Zurich. Overall, a perfect choice for anyone looking for comfort, style and a great setting.

    Lovely hotel with a fresh vibe. Ideal located near Zürich at the waterfront. Room was good size, bed comfy and breakfast massive. It is expensive but for Swiss standard it could we worse 😉

    Modern style room with two big windows and with a view of the Zürich lake. Everything was very clean and with a high quality. A beautiful place. We slept very well in the comfortable bed.
