Direct access to both pools and beach were a hit. Complete with shower/foot wash at re-entry point. The breakfast was traditional Costa Rican fare (fruit, rice/beans, plantains, sausage, and pancakes) and was good.

    I go there to do dental work at Crystal Dental, as their prices are 2-3 times cheaper than in the USA and the quality is better, they speak English and have German equipment. I do not care about touristy stuff, I did it on my first visit many years ago. You can take buses for daytrips. Tours with agencies are very expensive and geared for young athletic people. I wish there was a sightseeing tour for the whole day on a bus to take pictures without any hiking or horse-riding.

    Jaco is fine, the beach at playa blanca is the best in the area. But you have to access it by going to the other beach and walking up the hill past the public parking or to tbe beach and then left down to the curve and then over the small hill.

    During the last Costa Rican rainy season, the beach was ravaged by strong storms. a large portion of sand was washed away leaving exposed rock over much of the beach. My photos reveal that about four feet of sand was washed away. My time there was a bit disappointing, but I believe nature or people will restore the beach to its former glory.

    Good value at Beach Break Resort Oceanfront room.

    Good value at Beach Break Resort Oceanfront room. Good lunch special at the Japanese Restaraunt next to the bus station. The sewage and grey water from the town run into a creek next to the resort which flows into the Ocean so you are swimming in your own 'stew'.

    Loved the balcony and the pool Also loved that the owner and property manager were ultra responsive The apartment is well appointed with everything you could need and simple easy to understand check in instructions Great sunsets off the balcony and entertaining beach scenes with surfers, horses, happy people

    Jaco by itself is a nice place for vacationing.

    Jaco by itself is a nice place for vacationing. The beach is good and a lot of beaches nearby. Its proximity to Manuel Antonio and other places in the north are a big plus. The downtown is buzzing with lot of restaurants and ice cream shops. We walked along the downtown in the evening.

    Very comfortable condo. Excellent air-conditioning and ceiling fans. Kitchen was very well equipped with everything you need to cook at home. Good hot water and great to have access to washing machine. Immaculate gardens and beautiful swimming pool. Great view. Easy walking access to township of Jaco, supermarkets, cafes, restaurants and beach.

    So, Jaco is not a nice place to visit. We knew it and were looking for a place where we can stay comfortably all day without going out for other reason than food. This hotel was exactly what we needed. We spent all day in a pool.
