Charming two level cabin in a remote location, but convenient for an early morning visit to Poás Volcano. We were just 2 people but the cabin has sleeping for at least 10 people as well as a kitchen with hob, fridge freezer and wood fireplace, plus WiFi. The views are spectacular! Lots of blankets which came in handy as this was the coldest area we stayed in CR! Host was lovely and was waiting for us to guide us on where to park as waze was going to take us further down the track! Make sure you let her know your arrival time.

We were very happy to stay at this lovely small hotel with a beautiful garden and friendly hosts 🌸 The spacious, well-kept garden is wonderful, with funny rabbits freely hopping around🥰 Everything is very clean, and the breakfast and dinner were delicious. The location is not far from Poas Volcano. Host was very nice and gave us a lot of valuable recommendations. The property is really big, has a few bathrooms, a lot of beds and balcony with the nice view.

The cabins have a beautiful view and a spacious terrace. At night, we were warmed by a small heater that met our expectations. The kitchen is equipped with basic appliances. Wifi worked great. Great restaurant nearby. Too bad we only stayed one night.

    We stayed at the Altura Hotel. It was amazing beyond words! Can not say enough about this place. We stayed in a 'dome/yurt' and it was beautiful, well appointed and excellent in every sense of the word. Breakfast was included and it was such a treat!

    This was a beautiful property.

    This was a beautiful property. We enjoyed the foliage and flowers and all the little sitting areas. The room was very comfortable and had all of the amenities we required. The only thing that could be improved upon is to have a breakfast selection. It was the same thing every morning.

    From the time we arrive we felt more than welcomed.. everything was prepared for us in the most effective way..the location of the hotel was like a fairytale..our room has a fantastic view ..the breakfast was so hommy and delicious.. And above all I have to say that the owner was so kind and friendly and generous..she make everything she could to make our stay a fantastic experience.

    We were particularly pleased by the warm welcome of the staff. They were extremely helpful and took the time to give us advice regarding the rest of our trip. The dinner was excellent and the breakfast was very good. We highly recommend this hotel for people who want to visit Poás volcano since it is nearby.

    Very friendly staff at the hotel! Check in was easy and our room was quite comfortable. We took advantage of the fireplace in our room and it was wonderful. Our waitress at the restaurant was incredibly personable and we enjoyed our dinner. And the location is perfect. We will come back for sure!!

    Charming hotel way out by some fields near Poasito. The views are superb and you feel like you are on a farm. There are cows nearby, a donkey, two shaggy dogs, and at least one cat. The staff are helpful and a nice breakfast is included.

    I really glad about staying in La Paz Hotel. Extremely clean, everything what we needed, if it is cold in the night there is heater working very well. If we will be close to Vulcano Poas we stay for sure once more
