We were interested in learning the history of Cyprus, Lofou offered other aspects of Cyprus other than the sea, swim and sun. So amazing to still be able to find genuinely authentic remote villages without them being so commercialised. I felt like I had travelled to a completely different world. Beautiful traditional stone village! Great tavern nearby with local food, the lamb chops at Kamares tavern were delicious. Nice traditional village.
Nice traditional village. I would recommend to visit it on Easter to experience the traditions of Cyprus. Loved the church and walking around the village. We saw the ILOVELOFOU sign and the school.
