The location is just great, and a parking slot is just around the corner. The closest 24/7 tank station is 15 min. walk, and there are plenty of cute restaurants nearby. The hot water is HOT in 3 seconds, and it is really hot - they do not economize on this as many in Western Europe do. The town is lovely, and especially the river acts like another road - it is so close to the surface and so civilized and under control. The houses are well known, but I would recommend checking the "Fisch-Kisten" - a unique and smart keep-alive fridge in the river ;-)

    It is a charming town with beautiful places and friendly people. There was a lot of reconstructions in the centre but I hope next time to be ready. I would like to know more for the history of the town. There were too many interesting places - the tower, the gate ancient door, old houses and a lot of churches, a river - but I didn't find enouph info on the same places.

    Beautiful, clean and spacious apartment in Forchheim, with a peaceful atmosphere. The apartment is ideally located, being just a short walk away from the main train station and also near to places in the centre of town. The check-in was incredibly smooth and efficient with the lock box and key card system. Highly recommended!

Rooms very quiet even on road side. very comfortable bed and pillows. games in the rooms and free table tennis in the lounge. very varied breakfast with fresh fruit, yogourt, eggs, cured meat etc. and leaf tea, with fresh lemon, mint, and ginger! parking underneath the hotel for a surcharge

    Location was great - very quiet, near where we needed to be and not difficult to find - good road signs directing us to the hotel. Parking was easy and it was spotlessly clean throughout the hotel. Fantastic water pressure in the shower. Comfy bed. Courteous member of staff - if slightly out of his depth.

    Beautiful apartment with an amazing view of Forchheim from the balcony. The apartment is very well equipped and it is in a good location, around 15 minute walk to the centre of Forchheim / main station. The host was very communicative and the key was easy to pick up and drop off with the key safe.
