Very rarely do I get the feeling that I’m truly appreciated as a guest in a hotel; however the owner operator of this hotel really goes out of his way to make you feel welcome. Beds are very comfortable and the showers are very very nice and the location is perfect. Only three minutes from the train station.

The bulding is quite old, but the flat is new, clean and has everything you need. The beds and the sofa-bed are confortables. The owners are nice and help us with a litlee problem that we had. It's easy to park near the house.

I liked the traditional German atmosphere whilst also having lovely well sized modern rooms (they must have been refurbished recently, the rooms & bathroom were ‘brand new’) Had a nice evening with a buffet and wine tasting.

Everything about Ibis Styles Trier was amazing - the location was superb (in e courtyard of a lovely refurbished historic building) - right in the middle of the old Roman city and easily accessible to the sites of interest. The breakfast was one of the best I have ever had in a hotel and the cost of the room extremely reasonable. Plus the staff were very helpful.

    Price/quality optimal (for high season at least). We read criticisms that the facilities are outdated and that is true but these facilities are quite complete. (We even had scales in our room, imagine!) The town of Konz is rather unattractive but ideal if you are walking the Moselsteig like we did. Hotel is under new management that is still finding its way but is really focused on customer satisfaction.

    The owner was also in reception when I arrived both times I was there 4 days apart and was really friendly and helpful. He gave me a free upgrade to my room the second time. My room was perfect for me. Clean and quiet and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was also adequate. All in all I recommend this hotel.

    Very friendly, easy to find, great location with simple cheap train access to Trier. The manager was so nice offering to carry our bags and always had a smile. A real gem of a hotel. The wisteria covered beer garden and pond were a great touch. Ample parking
