Location was great, just slightly outside the Old Town, near a grocery and ATM, 10-minute walk to the Mosbach (Baden) station. We used this hotel as a base for hiking sections of the Neckarsteig and used the S-Bahn to come and go each day. Our room was very spacious, with comfortable bedding, lots of surfaces to spread out and organize paperwork and luggage. We also liked that a safe was provided and that the bathroom and shower were large and luxurious. We even enjoyed a nice view of the hills from out window. Breakfast was good.

We stayed 4 nights. Breakfast was great with eggs, cheeses, meats, various breads, fruits and yogurts. The breakfast seating area oversaw a pretty narrow valley with vineyards. The room was spacious with a beautiful view of the Neckar River and the staff was very friendly. Restaurants were a short walk into town along cobblestone streets. We would often ended the day by purchasing a bottle of local wine from the hotel and enjoying it on the hotel terrace overseeing the river. It is very central if you have a car with Rothenberg (1.25 hr), Heidelberg (50 min), Stuttgart (1 hr) away. Also, if you like birds of prey you must go to Burg Guttenberg just across the river for the bird show. It is a must see!

Loved the location and the offered amenities. The staff is bilingual (English/German) and extremely courteous. The hotel offers the typical German breakfast and has a full restaurant that caters lunch and dinner with exceptional local dishes. Menu is in German but nothing that Google translate can’t help with.
