Svendborg is a lovely seaport with great seafood.
Svendborg is a lovely seaport with great seafood. During the summer the harbour is filled with many interesting old, wooden, sea craft and there are many restaurants and bars close by. A ferry to the neighbouring island of Æreø departs from the harbour every 1-2 hours. The small town of Ærøskøbing on this island is well worth a visit. This place is like something out of a Walt Disney movie. Cobbled streets are lined on both sides with beautiful houses all of which seem to date from 1700-1800's with odd ones dating back even earlier.Guest review byStuartDenmark - 10.0

Beautiful little town. We arrived on a Friday late afternoon and it was great to be in a lively city after days in the country side. We really enjoyed walking around the harbour, where there was plenty of choice for drinks and food. Downtown was lovely too.Guest review byEliseBelgium - 10.0

The kitchen is remarkable well equipped. The room is sufficiently equipped. Wifi is free and works well. Showers take some time to get warm but that's no problem. I have prepared all meals on my own, so I can't tell about the brekfast. I can highly recommend this place and would stay there again if I'm in the area.
