A really special place to stay. We wanted somewhere cosy to feel Christmasy in December and this was perfect. Christmas movies infront of a log fire with access to beautiful mountains. Hosts are wonderful and really helped for making it a special weekend away.

Although the location was 3.8 km from the Camino route it was one of the best stays we had on our Camino. Teresa offered to pick us up in Triacastela but I was cycling and Anne was walking. We arrived earlier than anticipated and hiked to the property which is situated on farm land in the teeniest of villages 10 houses only). The building has been converted from an old farm house to a modern, tastefully renovated home. The property had all amenities, is private and quiet and set in the loveliest of rural farm land with views over the mountains in the distance and the farms close by. Teresa offered to take us to Triacastela to have dinner there and pick us up again but also gave us an option to buy local cheeses, iberico ham and wine from the region at cost. She supplied fresh bread, butter, jam, coffee, teas and hot chocolate as well as yoghurt, milk and other offerings. We opted for a feast at home and were happy to enjoy the peace and quiet. It really was a tranquil escape from the steadily increasing hustle and bustle of the Camino and allowed us to relax, meditate and be one with nature. To be honest, I so enjoyed this stay I want to go back for a longer period. Teresa helped us get our backpacks from Triacastela which we forwarded on Jacotrans, but which was left in a bar in Triacastela because Jacotrans does not veer of the “Way”, the Standard Camino route. She also helped to arrange transport for the backs on our departure date and dropped Anne and the bags off in Triacastela while I cycled the short distance. As a final farewell Teresa gave Anne a quick guided tour of Triacastela in her car and then sent us off with her best wishes for the rest of the Camino.

It was an amazing experience! We lived like in a dream in a big amazingly beautiful chalet with all necessary things!) We were hosted by Fernando. He was our saviour in all means. If you look for a quiet perfect getaway and amazing rest during Camino de Compostella this is place to be!

Hospitable staff and clean room

Beautiful modern rooms. Brand new property when we stayed there. Everything was clean and fresh and so so comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff. Bar/restaurant next door for delicious food. Central location in the town.

This place is truly exceptional in every way. I booked it with the expectation of having a treat and I was not wrong. Lucia greeted us with slippers and welcomed us to treat their beautiful home as if it was our own. Their home is stunning, both inside and out. There are several outside areas which enjoy spectacular views of the countryside, was wonderful to spot birds of prey and storks. It is a place you want to arrive early and spend time lazing around. A well stocked fridge with an honesty box means you can help yourself to a drink anytime. Lots of games were provided which my son and I made use of. Lucias wonderful husband cooked the most exquisite feast for us, full of local delicacies and such a variety of healthy, tasty dishes. Was just what was needed after a week walking the camino. Breakfast was included and was best I've ever had. Such attention to detail. The warmth and passion of this special couple makes them the perfect hosts. Would love to return again one day for longer.

Beds were the best during our camino in this accomodation. Breakfast very decälicious. The host was polite and helpoilta. Clean room.
