On the front desk of the parador there was a leaflet showing the fiesta events in Tavèrnoles. We really enjoyed seeing the village, the crafts and meeting some lovely people and children. A little out of the way, but with beautiful views of the valley of a national park. As a parador, one has to laugh as it is a bit "official" and seemingly last decorated, nicely, but quite a while ago. It reminded me of hotels in Eastern Europe. Very spacious room with balcony. Well appointed with good- sized bathroom and comfortable beds. There is an open air pool which was very welcome on a hot afternoon.
