Nordic Daughter of the Baltic

We enjoyed riding the No. 4 tram to the beach and cafe at the end of the line, and also the boat ride around the harbour and fortress island. I walked around the city and sat nearby the lake and many gardens and many beautiful streets, but native people are not social (as expected, actually). It was fun to be here. Beautiful city with great parks and restaurants and art, all very walkable. Lots of history, extremely clean, and easy to navigate. Finns are very polite if self-contained and it's a lovely place to explore a culture that appreciates sophistication and nature together in one place. Plus, it's very dog friendly!
