Antibes is a beautiful city and you are a short train ride away from Nice, Cannes, Monaco and other popular destinations. A day pass on the train cost 10 euros pp and we used this to our advantage! The old town is beautiful, lots of history, shops, bars and nice cafe's and restaurants. There are two small sandy beaches at the old town but if you take a walk to Juan Les Pins ( 30 minute on foot) there is a long stretch white sandy beach with beach clubs - perfect for my 18 year old daughter.Guest review byMelanie - 10.0

Antibes is a good home base for the French Riveria.
Antibes is a good home base for the French Riveria. Not as busy as Nice or Cannes which is literally a stones throw away, but takes 30 minutes or more by car due to traffic. Antibes is between the two. Even though we had a car, it was much easier, and cheaper, to take the bus and train to destinations around the French RIveria. Antibes has a great Old Towne which we stayed in, with the Ramparts/boardwalk/Promonade a highlight. The beach by the port was a delight.Guest review byJulieUnited States - 8.0

Antibes is a lovely town with a lot to explore. The small narrow streets in the old town are wonderful and you never know what’s around the next corner. There are so many squares with good food at them all. A little knowledge of French would make thing’s easier but by no means necessary.Guest review byJohnIreland

Short walk to Antibes old town and the beach. We were 2 Moms with our 3 sons staying here for 2 nights and we loved every thing about the apartment. We were the first visitors to stay here and it was much better than a luxury hotel. Antoine and his sister were extremely sweet and helpful and made sure we had a great stay! Thank you so much!
