We stayed in order to visit the Fete des Boeuf Gras Bazas. For us, communications were top class, with a caring and warm welcome, which was totally evident throughout our stay. Our room, 11, could not have been more perfect for our needs. The location of the hotel was perfect, in order to easily walk to centre ville, and what a treat centre ville is, the most magnificent Cathedrale, and surrounding historic buildings. At the Rodin, there is a comfortable shared lounge, and quaint terrace at the entrance. The Hotel is newly refurbished to a high standard, Fenella and staff could not have been more helpful, she booked a table at the fabulous Indigo for us. For travellers, there is a laundrette right next to the Hotel. Easy parking is normally opposite the Hotel, Make time to visit La Cave, on the short walk to the Cathedrale. We have pleasure in recommending 100% the Rodin and its Owner.

Superb breakfast in a lovely garden , could not of asked for more , the owner is a lovely lady who really did care about what she was doing . Situated in a lovely little village with a few nice cafes and restaurants in the square 100 mtrs away . Highly recommend this place .

Everything!!! Perfect remote location, but still not too far from centre, very friendly host, very nice rooms, garden, swimming pool, breakfast, parking on site. Hard to find a detail to complain about!!!

The welcoming hospitality is outrageous. Our hosts are the best in France. The spacious room with modern bathroom -view on the cathedral- in the amazing house has an historical grandeur. The garden with parking is a great place to enjoy a relaxing time. The accommodation is in a quiet street, restaurants and shops are around the corner. The breakfast was delicious. The location in the small town of Bazas is wonderful.

An original old Chateau with all original features. The room was very warm and the water piping hot. The hosts were very friendly and did everything to help despite we knowing no french and them noting no English. Hand signs and smiles went a long way. We would stay again.

One of the best places we have stayed at. Lovely welcome, water and biscuits in the room, spotlessly clean and everything nicely provided, we used the immaculate kitchen to make a meal and had use of the swimming pool. Set in a beautiful rural location, the local town Bazas is 15 mins away and has just about everthing that you could need. Thank you to our hosts and what a pleasure to stay with you

    The staff were super friendly and helpful. Our room was specklesly clean, and the scent of aromatherapy oils lay in the air. The bed was extremely comfortably firm, and the shower cubicle was enjoyably large. The location is fantastic, too. Despite being in the middle of Bazas, it was relaxingly quiet. Amble FREE public parking can be found right in front of the hotel or nearby. Bazas is a beautiful town with lots of nice restaurants and artisan shops.

    It’s an eccentric, quirky B&B, with a nice room overlooking the garden and lovely bed. Good simple unfussy French style breakfast of croissant and bread butter jam at a shared table the next morning. don’t expect a hotel, it’s not priced for that. oh and the family only bought it in February 2022 so any reviews before that shouldn’t count.

    Wonderful hosts, welcoming and helpful, providing a fantastic breakfast in our room. The house is delightful; the room was both a bedroom and sitting room. The bathroom modern and very well equipped. Bazas was a great stop-over on our way south, would absolutely stop with the family again.
