About 6-8 mins drive off the motorway, I liked the gated car park, good for large vans like mine. Food was good and moderately priced. Great decor, room was comfortable.

The room was small and basic but it was clean. The shower was hot and had excellent pressure. The room had reverse cycle air con which was very welcome because Mâcon was freezing when we were there. The staff were the highlight of our stay. They helped us so much with organising taxis despite us knowing very limited french. Breakfast was yummy, locally sourced and they even cooked waffles to order. I highly recommend Fasthotel Mâcon.

The room was basic but everything was well presented and very clean. It was lovely to be able to open the window for fresh air. The bathroom was adequate and the shower was fantastic- great pressure. We paid for breakfast. It was self serve and the best we have had at any hotel this trip. We enjoyed the exercise reminders in the hotel. The location of the hotel was walking distance from the pick up point for our rental car - very convenient.

Easy access to the A6. Close to shops and restaurants. Friendly Reception. I've stayed at other 'Originals" Hotels and their standards are very high for this price range. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. Tea and Coffee facilities in the room was really appreciated as you don't find this often in French hotels.

The village of Chaintre is on the top of the hill surrounded by vineyards. The flat is big and beautiful with a large bathroom. The owner is friendly and helpful. I will certainly return there.
