If you are a history buff, Courseulles is a great location...
If you are a history buff, Courseulles is a great location to explore the main D-Day sites. It is also a good spot for a relaxed family vacation as there are many interesting nature and architectural sites to visit and several excellent trekking trails in the area. Communication was great, we knew exactly what and where to go when we arrived, a lovely little welcome of treats too. Sophie and Sebastian are great hosts, we would definitely stay there again. I was there for the Juno Beach Ceremony of D-Day. The whole city was great. Being within walking distance of the Juno Beach Centre was fantastic. As well as being able to walk the beach. It really felt like being in a small castle. The rooms have been renovated beautifully. Easy and secure parking inside the grounds. Great location to go to Juno beach and to the restaurants at the harbour. Breakfast is in the big room downstairs and the table was set wonderfully. You can preorder breakfast the day before. The room/ apartment was very spacious and extremely comfortable. The host Romain was so accommodating and friendly and he made an amazing coffee & scrambled eggs for us in the morning! We did not have the best weather whilst we were there to enjoy the lovely little courtyard here, however it was a great spot for a relax after a day of sightseeing around Normandy.
