We enjoyed walking around the neighbourhoods, the friendliness of locals, nice range of pubs and excellent meals. We enjoyed walking thru the fields behind the top of Constitution Hill (furnicular). We spent lovely half a day at the National Library and surrounds. Beach and promenade is lovely and especially around the spit beyond the castle. Beautiful view, captivating scenery with local hikes and walks available. I loved the ride on the steam train from Aberystwyth to Devils Bridge. I liked the town, the castle, and promenade. We had a lovely walk through the town! Research where to eat. We had fish and chips on the pier very dry and tasted lick cardboard. We were given alternative accommodation and offered the chance to move on the second night. The property is managed by a hotel Four Seasons in Aberystwyth. We went to look at this property and firstly the pool is FREEZING - unusable and the only reason we booked the property. It is leaking and being constantly filled up with a hose pipe from the garden.
