Very picturesque, with plenty to see and do.
Very picturesque, with plenty to see and do. Would recommend Smiths Burgers and the Dragonfly Maze. Easy to walk round and near to other places, such as Stow-on-the-Wold if you wanted to go further afield. Would have liked to have seen the Model Village but you couldn't take dogs in. Very busy, but well worth the effort.
Very busy, but well worth the effort. So much to see and do not only in Bourton but also the surrounding countryside. There are ample venues for food and drink, shopping is on another level. Model village, car museum, bird park are must dos. Upper and Lower Slaughter are just unmissable places to visit (get there before 10:30 am as parking is scarce. Bourton on the Water is one of the prettiest little places...
Bourton on the Water is one of the prettiest little places we’ve visited. The village is clean. The buildings are neat. The shops and eateries are interesting. The clear, shallow Windrush stream flowing through it with its lively flock of ducks is captivating and the footbridges across the stream and paths beside it make the whole experience of the village very special.Guest review byRossAustralia

Nothing was too much trouble and we were looked after extremely well and on our arrival we were provided with a hot drink and a slice of delightful home made cake. The location works well the village of Bourton on the Water and for the Cotswolds area in general. Their house is immaculate, very clean but also manages to feel cosy. David hosted us beautifully, 5 stars all the way. Everything was uncomplicated with plenty of parking. Bourton on the Water is the nicest village in the Cotswolds, flowers and little bridges everywhere and very quiet at night. Firstly, the location was perfect, a few steps away from everything. Our room was delightful, bright, clean and beautifully furnished. The breakfast was great, as was the restaurant on site.
