We stayed at Kingscliff hotel for a holiday with 7-month old twins. The family room was cosy, clean and spacious: we had a double bed, two single beds and two cots and we managed to place our rocking chairs and a playmat in between. We appreciated that we were given a room on the ground floor and there was no need for us to carry our babies up and down the stairs. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Each day we needed to warm baby milk and sterilise bottles in a microwave, and all our requests were accommodated promptly. The breakfast and evening meal in the restaurant was always delicious, with wide choice. In the restaurant, we were also provided with convenient high chairs for the babies.

The ambience. After a bit of a scary moment and a few kerfuffles here and there, the staff and the manager were just the kindest and the sweetest. They cared about my soloness and accommodated me above and beyond. It's not the Ritz, but it was very close as far as the care and attention was concerned. The room was cozy and the lighting great. Beds comfy and decor fancy and thoughtful (depending on room)! Fridge and microwave a bonus. Clean towels and bedding. The balcony is great with views of Clacton pier and the lights if you get those rooms. But mostly the kindness of the staff was the winning point especially the Boss. I felt safe after feeling unsafe because locks do need to be put on porch doors as terraces are very close to eachother and that's important I think if you're travelling solo. I had a fab time though. A very memorable experience.

The property was fantastic! Ample space, very cosy interior. It’s on the 1st floor but not very difficult for us to reach even with luggages. The property is quite strategically located as the town centre is nearby. Would love to stay here again if we are ever back in Clacton.

Nice rooms with comfy beds, impeccable white linen and towels. Nice shower room with hair and body shampoo. Next to the Clacton Pier with all its entertainments and promenade. Delicious breakfast: full English with veggie option plus some extra dishes like poridge, muslie, jams, butter etc. Neat, pleasant interior with attention to a detail. Attractive entrance area with beautiful flowers and furniture to sit and enjoy.

Brunton House is a family-run guest house situated in the heart of Clacton-on-Sea, only a 5-minute walk from Clacton-on-Sea Rail Station and the beach. Parking and Wi-Fi are free.

The room had been done up. A good shower . The fridge was kept stocked with milk, juice yoghurt, cheese, butter and Margarine and a variety of jams. Fresh fruit every day. Paul helped carry my very heavy luggage. They were available and were very helpful. Within close walking range of the beach, pier and high street, as well as the beach path walk. Will definitely stay there again.
