From the moment we arrived at The Driftwood Greg and Lihong made us feel so welcomed. We arrived early and there was no issue in accessing our spotlessly clean room on the 2nd floor. The room was equipped with a fridge which was very handy for storing my insulin, a coffee machine, bottled water, extra towels and all the other nice things you get in high end hotels. Looking forward to returning in the future.

Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Great building, very clean and modern. Very good food. Great value I stayed here spontaneously when my girlfriend was unexpectedly admitted to a nearby hospital — Conquest. I was on holidays in the UK at the time and had to cancel my return flight and had run out of clean clothes. The hotel did not have a laundry service, but still washed, dried, and hung several t shirts and shirts in my room for me.

The room had a fun, quirky vibe, and it was clean and cozy. Besides being a building with loads of interesting history, it's located right at the beachfront with easy access to the rest of the city by foot or by bus. The staff were friendly, and the breakfast was top-notch.

I arranged for my wife and I to stay here recently for her birthday and it was amazing. It was a fantastic welcome from Ken and Karen, and nothing was too much trouble. We had Room 5, and it was a mixture of modern and retro...pure class. We will definitely return. Thank you so much.

The room was very spacious with a large double bed in a kind of mezzanine area and also a bunk bed, which our kids absolutely loved. There was also a sitting area, comfortable bathroom and even a small patio to enjoy in case of nice weather.
