Nestled in an idyllic location close to Oban and Kilmartin Glen, Corrie House met and exceeded our expectations, offering beautifully decorated rooms and well-appointed bathrooms with quality bed and bath linens, dreamy mattresses, plush pillows and ample storage. Roger and Sally Gaskell have taken great care to create a 5-star luxury accommodation, supplying every wish and need for travellers, from fluffy robes and slippers to designer tea and coffee, fresh milk and bottled water. Corrie House feels like a home away from home, with welcoming reception rooms as well as a sweeping deck, offering sea views of nearby Mull, Scarba and Jura. The owners are kind and helpful, willing to assist travellers with dining arrangements, taxis and information about local attractions. The breakfast menu must also be lauded, with brewed coffees, lattes and cappuccinos complimenting a choice of old favourites and fresh takes like avocado toast with mozzarella and a kick of chilis. Animal lovers will be delighted to know that four-legged friends are welcome, and for those hankering for a little puppy love, there are two darling dogs at home in the kitchen, well-behaved and waiting for a wolfhound or schnauzer to book the premises. We will definitely return to this lovely property.

very nice clean and well tidy food good if you like a lot of fish, they also make a great soup. And I take my hat off to the chef Mikel for his black garlic truffle and butter with homemade bread, and last but not least the staff very well mannered and special thanks to the wonderful lady who brought our breakfast each morning.

Beautiful village, very quiet, with incredible views of the Loch Awe. There is not much around so be aware of that, but as long as groceries are done before there is no problem. There was a coffee shop there (not open every day), but we did not have time to try it out.

Dalavich is a lovely village with such a tranquil and peaceful atmosphere. A village shop and cafe as well as a bar if you fancy an evening stroll and pint. A great base if you want to see a bit more of Scotland.

We could not have changed a thing, was all very well explained you knew exactly what you were getting and definitely got everything that was explained the host were on hand if you needed them got reply back almost immediately and the hot tub Instructions were made clear the hot tub itself was immaculate a well maintained. We live in the central belt so was a couple of hours travel but beautiful scenery if you are not driving there was a bit of road works kept us back a little but they are only making roads better for travel, it is very country road style very up and down but when your a break you are not in a hurry but it is a road to take your time on and really wouldn’t do it if weather eg Scotland’s snowy weather unless you had a well equipped vehicle so something to think about when you book

We booked for a week but decided to leave after 5 nights as the weather was so atrocious and we were running out of things to do. Having no access to wi-fi was a big factor in this decision as our daughter had planned to do some college work during the stay and was unable to do so.
