A Truly Enchanting Stay I had the absolute pleasure of staying at this wonderful property yesterday, and I only wish I had booked for longer! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with a warm and friendly welcome that made me feel instantly at home. The property itself is enchanting—beautifully maintained, thoughtfully designed, and full of charm. Every detail seemed curated to create a relaxing and inviting atmosphere. What truly stood out to me, though, was the comfort of the room. I had the best sleep I’ve had in a long time, thanks to the incredibly cozy bed and peaceful surroundings. It was exactly the rejuvenating experience I needed. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. I am already looking forward to my next visit and will be sure to stay longer next time! The location is spectacular with nature literally right at your doorstep. Getting woken up by a pheasant on the roof of your pod at 5.30 was annoying but special at the same time. I sat with the door open with a cup of tea watching him watching me until he got bored and wandered off. The pod and the showers/bathrooms were spotlessly clean. Didn't really use the kitchen except to boil water, but that was clean too. Gemma was really kind letting me use the shower after I got a bit lost on an overly ambitious mountain bike ride and got back just minutes before the 11am check-out time. Thank you! It's a pity it was only for a one night stop off....next year I will spend more time here.

A warm welcome always awaits at the Grandtully. This is our 3rd visit, to celebrate another birthday. We just love everything about this hotel, the tasteful decor, the food, the staff, we arrived in the midst of Storm Babet, and late for our dinner reservation and the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. After a 4 hour journey we were ready for a good meal, the food is incredible, the menu is seasonal and all the ingredients locally sourced. With only 8 rooms this place is very special with wonderful friendly staff and personal service.

Great location for a stop in Pitlochry. We had a car so drove into town but its not a far walk. Nice little town for an hour of shopping and to pickup picnic supplies for Loch Muick. Included Dinner was great, breakfast too. Best place in this town to stay. Old manor house, it was very elegant.

    Property was fabulous. Lovely rooms and staff. Breakfast was the best with lots of options. Dinner needs changing up with specials for dinner and dessert. Was same menu every day. Room was a bit stuffy. Need portable fans. We had a window that opened but did not really help. Swimming pool and spa was lovely. Staff was amazing. Shout out to Annia who found a tick on my leg during a massage. No idea wher it came from as i stayed on the path.

    It is an extremelly picturesque and in parts quaint town!

    It is an extremelly picturesque and in parts quaint town! It does have its own railway station, and a very good bus service! The Hermitage is a MUST SEE! In Burnam, (Mentioned in Macbeth) the walks are superb through the Glen, and the Beatrix Potter gardens are a must see also.

    Very charming place.

    Very charming place. Cathederal set in lovely grounds and still being used during the big renovations. Several lovely cafe's/pubs. Parking an issue when it is busy which is generally any nice day

    Beautiful location. Verdant with lovely river views. The town also has some interesting shops, including Jeffrey’s, the art gallery and the vintage shop. A small gem of a town. Also very handy for Perth, Aberfeldy, etc.

    Lovely little town.

    Lovely little town. Walked around the hermitage which is very well maintained and makes a nice walk. Villagers were all very friendly in Dunkeld, especially Arran Bakery. Nice wee near garden in Taybank hotel too. Beautiful walk along the bank.

    Dunkeld and Birnam are very picturesque little towns.

    Dunkeld and Birnam are very picturesque little towns. There are beautiful walks along the riverbank. The cathedral and grounds are worth a visit. If exploring the surrounding areas Kinclaven woods has the most spectacular display of bluebells at this time of year. Great music scene to be appreciated. Limited eateries open on a Monday evening. Good quality but expensive fare in those that are open. Granny Blacks tearoom worth a visit during daytime.

    Lovely 2nd floor flat in a great location for exploring the Dunkeld area. The flat had everything we needed for basic cooking and the washing machine and pully was a plus! Owner communicated well and confirmed smoke alarms were working as they were peeping (sorted quickly).

    Hotel staff were absolutely fantastic! Dunkeld house exceeded all expectations that we had. Stayed for our wedding anniversary and staff were so friendly and made us feel special. Rooms were clean, facilities were great and the dinner and breakfast was super!

    The location was perfect and we enjoyed walks through Birnam and into Dunkeld. We enjoyed the freedom offered by Hilary and the kitchenette was a bonus. Beautiful views from the large, bright room.
