Staff was very nice and helpful. We booked for 9.00 am breakfast and had to change for 8am. No problems at all. Food was delicious. Drinks were not expensive and the atmosphere was very good. Everything else was ok.

I stayed at the Macdonald Hotel and was very pleased with my experience 🌟. First of all, I want to highlight the cleanliness — both the rooms and common areas are always well kept. The atmosphere of the hotel is very cozy, which makes the stay especially comfortable. I would also like to thank all the staff — they are always friendly, attentive, and ready to help with anything. This truly makes you feel relaxed and well taken care of. I will definitely return and would gladly recommend this hotel to others!

    Central to visit other areas of Scotland most being couple of hours drive away A roads were good to travel on some of the B roads but scary in icy weather lovely area we stayed at Loch Insh with lovely comfortable chalets

    don't have enough space to say how happy we all were . the oldest being 80 years and the youngest 11 didn't even complain excellent meals / facilities / staff will defiantly be back and recommend to all young and old

    Absolutely stunning, better than we could have asked for!

    Absolutely stunning, better than we could have asked for! Lodge was gorgeous and location was spectacular (makes coming home very sad). All the staff we met were extremely friendly and helpful. We enjoyed archery 🏹 a day of watersports too which was also very reasonably priced. Coffee from the Boathouse was spot on and the meals were yummy! Really really impressed and will definitely be back! 🏄‍♀️🚣🏊‍♀️

    The location is lovely by the lochside, but that is to be expected for a water sports facility offering what it does. The rooms were clean and adequate though maybe small for a long stay. The bar and dinding area was large and airy and had lovely sunny outlook over the loch with open terrace and tables.

    The views of the loch and surrounding areas was amazing watersports readily available and close to landmark for kids. So many things to do in the area Highland wildlife park, Aviemore,and Cairngorms we will go back but probably choose a bigger room for a longer stay

    Insh hall is in a perfect location and really easy to get to the outdoor centre. Staff are friendly and the accommodation was nice a cosy with an excellent shower. I didn't have breakfast with my room as this was part of my sunrise paddle board session but the breakfast would have been in the same restaurant and was excellent great selection for both veg and non veg. Would definitely return and recommend Insh Hall.

    We had a great stay. Wish it had been longer. The apartment was beautiful, bright , spotlessly clean and bright. Everything you could need was provided. The facilities were second to none and the little surprises left were wonderful. This is the best holiday accommodation I've come across. We will definitely visit again

    Setting is beautiful and peaceful Accommodation is simple but more than enough for an active holiday Plenty to do on site whatever the weather Johnny and the team are super friendly and really made us feel at home and that they had our experience first in their heads at all times. I love this place.

    What's not to like about Shetland cottages. Great accommodation, fantastic location and scenery. Lots of things to do within the area or a short drive away. We stayed with our toddler and all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would highly recommend it to everyone.
