Spotless. The Owner was a nice Guy.. Very nice inside. Needs a Bit TLC on the Outside but Generally that does not matter. Loads of Shampoo and Teas and Coffees. Highly recommend it in the middle of town with parking..

Lovely spacious room with large bay windows! We were just passing through on our way to Inverness however Kinross itself is a beautiful little town with a lovely lake and surroundings. The golf course looked lovely however I did not play a round due to time constraints.

The place was just absolutely adorable, even if not on a beaten path (which is exactly what I was looking for), in a quaint little village, right by the shore. Absolutely adorable! I wish I could've stayed longer. If without a car, just take a taxi, Uber doesn't run there.

Been going to Kinross for a lot of years and slowly seen it decline. It’s still an ideal location for touring the surrounding area which is lovely to visit. You just have to find the right accommodation.

This is a very attractive small town beside the beautiful Loch Leven and close to many lovely local areas. It has a range of basic amenities and a couple of good places to eat. It is easy to reach from Edinburgh

As always the people are very pleasant, the wee coffee...

As always the people are very pleasant, the wee coffee shops which are all lovely, nice varied menus and homemade cakes! The butcher shop is a must the choices in this shop are amazing! Lots of nice wee independent shops too selling an array of something different!

There is not much to do in Kinross.

There is not much to do in Kinross. We went to the lake and wanted to visit the castle but it was closed due to a private event. Some shops are closed or are closing in the town. The small jetty looks abandoned and run down. It might have been nice to walk or cycle around the loch. However, for us 1 day was sufficient time. We really liked the small cafe Reminisce. Lovely team.

Well situated for overnight stay en route to Edinburgh. Lovely big room with plenty wardrobe space. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food was delicious and promptly served. Excellent choices for breakfast just what was needed hot selection cold selection pastries and cereals. J would highly recommend this hotel. Never had a chance to go in to Main Street but will visit again

It's a small town but it has everything.

It's a small town but it has everything. Loch Leven is a gem and the surrounding countryside very beautiful. The drives to Perth and Scone Palace as well as to Stirling are gorgeous. It's within half and hour of Edinborough and 45 minutes of Glasgow. We ate at our hotel, the Kirklands which has a great restaurant so can't say anything about the other places.

The lodge is big and has an amazing view on the lake. The kitchen has a lot of space. Unfortunately it's not well equipped. There are big cabinets which are completely empty. There are no bigger pans. Cooking is difficult because of the lack of equipment. The beds are ok. The couch and the chairs for the living room table are really uncomfortable. This lodge could actually be made for a longer stay with a little better furniture and more equipment.

Requested rooms to be next door which they were, very spacious and Clean, My sister had a single room which was also spacious and had a smaller double bed. Meals were very tasty with a nice selection to choose from we would highly recommend a visit. Breakfast you were given the choice of full or just part of cooked breakfast, cereals, rolls and much more, i requested a single poached egg on toast and it was perfect.
