The annexe is well equipped, with parking and Wi-Fi.
The annexe is well equipped, with parking and Wi-Fi. For Cyclists and Walkers it is well situated for the South Downs Way, Cuckoo Trail, NCN Eastbourne to Lewes, and other NCN routes. For families Drusillas is close by as are many other attractions. For peace and quiet it satisfies very well !! Chickens, Ducks, Ponies, and other small farm animals abound, but are very quiet as we didn’t really hear them at all. Fresh farm eggs if you want them too !! Polegate is great for access to the beaches at Eastbourne and Pevensey. Excellent retail parks and large supermarkets within easy reach - 10 minute drive away. Sovereign Harbour retail, restaurant and Marina nearby. So much to see and do in surrounding area, makes Polegate a great base. So pretty quiet and rural. Nature park reservoir just up the road. You do hear trains but they didn't seem to run during the night so slept soundly.
