I love everything about the room. I couldn’t get it more out for the costs i paid. I got two very soft beds( used one for my clothes😅). The room was always clean and new towels on the rack. On the night stand were bottles of whiskey and gin and two glasses, free to drink. Also kettle for use to make morning coffee or tea! Freshly prepared breakfast. You choose what you will eat for breakfast next morning.

    It is a small village.

It is a small village. It is an excellent location to visit the Mull of Galloway lighthouse which has a cheap tour . It is the most southerly point in Scotland. There are also nice beaches and an RSPB site at the lighthouse The Logan gardens are also close to this area. We saw a snow goose. This is only the second Snow goose I have seen in Scotland. The locals said it appears on a regular basis

It was an older type property / country house with all the quirkiness you would expect from days gone by but the mix mash of books, pictures, photos and tartan carpets and rugs not to mention the collections of signed cricket bats makes Tors Warren a must place to visit.

The staff were great . The country house attic room was spotless, If you are tall you may need to watch your head, at 5’4 I was fine ! The Breakfast room was lovely and a fabulous full breakfast served by friendly staff who couldn’t do enough to help. We would definitely recommend this lovely country house to others.

Stoneykirk is remote but a lovely place to escape to.

Stoneykirk is remote but a lovely place to escape to. Close to spectacular coastline and in the middle of the countryside, it's quiet with no real local facilities but so much nearby. A great base for exploring Galloway. We visited Portpatrick about 8 miles away which is a lovely little town with some great places to eat. You need to enjoy the outdoors and be able to plan your own itinerary to get the most from a visit here.

This is an excellent place to stay if you want peace and quiet. Breakfast is excellent, the beds are comfortable the bathrooms are very clean and recently fitted out. The building is full of character as are the two resident Alpaca, Porridge and Patch who live in the field. Everything is calm and quiet, Galloway is a quiet scenic area of the country, with rolling hills and livestock farms. You are not far from Mull of Galloway with its lighthouse, very nice tea room and abundant bird life. Belfast is only a ferry ride away, the port of Cairnryan is 20 mins from this B& B.

We had an enjoyable stay. We would highly recommend this small hotel. Exceptional value for money. The hotel is set in lovely surroundings. We booked an evening meal in the restaurant. The food was exceptional and plentiful. We had a full Scottish breakfast again was exceptional. People who have written poor reviews are an insult to the owner and staff. There is no reason at the price you pay for your bed and breakfast for anybody to complain. Unfortunately you can't please everyone. Thank you for a lovely enjoyable stay.

This was the cheapest hotel I have stayed in for a while. The meal at night was good and inexpensive. The breakfast was good Overall it was good value for money The hotel was handy to visit the Mull of Galloway lighthouse

Good size room although some furniture needs to be removed it was immaculately clean. Breakfast had a good choice and hot. Nice bar area and lounge area was well appointed. The grounds were excellent with seating areas. The position of the hotel was great in the countryside and yet easy to get to the bigger towns.
