I cannot speak highly enough of my experience at this hotel. The staff went above and beyond to assist us with any queries and were incredibly warm and welcoming. The scenery was breathtaking; our room in the pottery-style accommodation offered stunning views of the Caucasus Mountains, allowing us to witness breathtaking sunrises amidst vineyards. The dinner was exceptional, with lamb and beef liver dishes being absolute highlights, complemented perfectly by their exquisite homemade red wine. However, what truly left a lasting impression was the breakfast spread – incredibly lavish, and enjoying it amidst such natural beauty was an unparalleled delight.

After the hustle and bustle of Tbilisi, we toured Kakheti. Just outside Telavi we stumbled upon Chateau White Flags, an oasis of tranquility with a beautiful view of the Caucasus. The welcome was warm. The hostess conjures up delicious dishes on the table. The wine, made by the host, was exceptionally tasty. With an eye for tradition, but with an open mind for the melting pot of cultures that come together here. After a delicious dinner, we immediately booked an extra night. Enjoyed an extra day of reading by the pool and an additional culinary evening. Breakfast was excellent too. Highly recommended in an excellent location!

Hotel Ameli felt like a cozy home away from home. From the window, I could admire the stunning Caucasus mountain views that made every morning unforgettable. Over the weekend, we stayed at Kisi Garden Hotel. The hotel has two outdoor pools: one large and deep (around 1.7 meters) and a smaller children’s pool (about 70 cm deep), which isn’t very big in size either. There are sun loungers and a café area nearby where you can relax in the shade at tables under umbrellas. You can grab a snack there or buy drinks and ice cream. The family rooms are located on the 3rd floor of the hotel, where there is also a large terrace with a beautiful view. However, it’s worth noting that the hotel doesn’t have an elevator, which might be inconvenient for families with small children. The room itself is compact, with a double bed (140 cm wide) and a standard single bed, a small wardrobe with hangers, two nightstands, a chest of drawers, and a mini fridge. The hotel staff is friendly, but mostly speak Georgian. The owner showed us his vineyard and treated us to grapes grown there.
