Great location by the water/port away from the busiest part of the city. The rooms are modern and very nicely furnished, spotless clean. Beds are very comfortable. The nice addition of a jacuzzi made the afternoon very pleasant and relaxing. The staff is very friendly and extremely service minded. Fantastic breakfast that you can enjoy outside the hotel or at the rooftop area. Parking is easy as you can park for free at the port just 100 meters away. Bonus tip: the equally fantastic restaurant Piato is just 30 meters from the hotel. Book both for an unforgettable combination.

Our recent stay at the InterContinental Crete was absolutely phenomenal from start to finish. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to a stunning sea view room, which set the tone for a truly memorable getaway. The staff were incredibly friendly, polite, and genuinely eager to assist with anything we needed. Their warm hospitality made us feel welcome and well cared for throughout our stay. The hotel itself is modern, luxurious, and recently built, with elegant design touches that create a serene and upscale atmosphere. Everything from the lobby to the rooms exudes comfort and sophistication. We were especially impressed by the abundant and delicious breakfast, offering a wide variety of fresh, high-quality options each morning. It was the perfect way to start the day. One of the highlights of our stay was relaxing on the sunbeds by the infinity pools on the 5th and 9th floors. The pools offer breathtaking views over the Aegean Sea and a calm, peaceful ambiance that's ideal for unwinding. To top it all off, the hotel kindly accommodated our request for a late checkout, allowing us to enjoy just a bit more time in this beautiful setting. Overall, our experience at the InterContinental Crete was exceptional. Whether you're looking for relaxation, luxury, or top-tier service, this hotel truly delivers on all fronts. Highly recommended!

It was a really calm and wonderful experience from all aspects, starting with the hotel. I booked a suite with a private pool facing the sea. The room was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. All the hotel staff, without exception, were amazing and friendly, making you feel like you're dealing with family members rather than employees just doing their job. Beatiful hotel with excellent location right in the city center. The room (actually it was two connected rooms) had beautiful mediterranean design and mind-blowing views of the sea and the lake. Great staff, special thanks to Anargiros for providing great service at both check-in and check-out. I hope to come back again to this amazing hotel.

Well this has been about the third time we have stayed at the Angelos hotel and it never fails to get 100% rating. The room was basic, but met our needs including a wonderful view of the bay. The hotel is quirky to get into but does have a lift, which you access through a shop.The owner, Eleftheria also works in the shop, next door and is marvellous.The rooms are cleaned each day and because I celebrated my 76th birthday, at the hotel I was presented with a birthday card. Sort of.But nevertheless the hotel is a oasis in a resort of much more expensive, luxury accommodations, and long may it remain so for the foreseeable future...
