Gouves is a place to go if you want to completely unwind.
Gouves is a place to go if you want to completely unwind. I'd say it's more appealing for couples rather than young families, but that said, there are some things to keep the kids happy. Beaches are sandy with watersports and there is a waterpark, aquarium and Dinosaur park close by. If you want hussle and bustle, Gouves is not the place for you, it's a laid back resort with most places closing by 1am but a few remain open a bit later. I think it was the best buffet food ive ever had, the service is amazing and the staff cannot be more accommodating. You never have to fight for sun beds, the private area at the pool and beach is well served and there is plenty to do - tennis, yoga, paddle, aqua gym (Nicki is amazing and everyone joins in!), volleyball and plenty of water sport options. Breakfast was fabulous and we had a few dinners at their restaurant in the evenings too which is up there with the best meal we had all week.
