The breakfast had a lot of healthy options. The room service was incredible - I ordered something each night I was there. The food arrived quickly, the portions were huge for the price and everything was delicious. I had a massage which I also loved - the lady applied medium pressure and made me feel relaxed. The pool was clean and the sun lougers were very comfortable as well. My towels were changed often and the room was always left super clean. I didn't have any difficulty watching Netflix in my room which meant that the WiFi speed and quality were spectacular!

This is a family friendly hotel with a lovely garden, good sized pool area and a water park great for kids. The food was plenty and excellent. The location is great if you are seaking for a remote, yet well connected place to be. To the seaside you have to take a short walk (10 min) to the beach -which is well needed after the food you had- though lovely fields with olive trees, goats and a little church. It is like a little adventure. The public transport is on your doorstep and it half way between the airport and Rhodes city. Tickets can be purchased is from the great Mini Market (you can find everything in it) next to the hotel entrance. Alternatively you can rent a car/take private transfer depending on your wallet and needs.

Everything about the hotel was perfect. The breakfast was delicious, the room was clean and very close to the sea. It was 30 seconds for us to reach the beach. Even though the sunbeds are 5 Euros it wasn't a problem for us because our room was in the garden and had sun beds in front of it. We would like to thank the staff for this wonderful stay.

We had a wonderful stay! The apartment is very well maintained, clean and fully equipped with everything you might need – including a washing machine, an electric grill and even laundry detergent. The balcony is a real highlight – perfect for relaxing at any time of day. Parking is easy, just across the street and there’s a supermarket right in front of the building, which is super convenient. The beach is within walking distance and there are plenty of restaurants, shops nearby. To explore the area more comfortably, having a car is definitely must and helpful. All in all, it was the perfect accommodation. Highly recommended

    Close enough to Rhodes Old Town to visit regularly if you want. Plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from. Lively, but not rowdy. As a kitesurfer, it offered me a choice of beaches and kite stations within 25 mins. Also, the sea breeze was pretty reliable most afternoons. My family thoroughly enjoyed the picturesque sunset horse riding that took place just in front of Rainbow Bar. We all enjoyed this special little bar, its food, cocktails, beer and view of the sunset.

    Lalyssos was a quick transfer to the airport.

    Lalyssos was a quick transfer to the airport. It has a pleasant beach, with frontline hotels. All the people I met were warm and welcoming. It is easy to get to Rhodes Old Town by bus and takes approximately 30 minutes. Top tip take water, the buses can be full and hot. Also just by a one way ticket each way. You don't need a day pass. You can tap on with your debit card on the bus. There are bars and restaurants on the road down to the beach. Try @mondbarrhodes cocktail and pool bar. The cocktails were amazing, Also try Joni's bar, also very welcoming, and if you want to watch sport For a Greek taverna go to Platons The beach has windsurf hire. For the best patisseries/cakes go to @cakebox.cafe There are lots of great excursions. Try @holidaysessential I used the family run company and have only praise. They have lots of different excursions. They have three offices, one is in Lalyssos. There is an acropolis on the top of the mountain in Lalyssos but it is quite a hike if you do not have a car. There is a little tourist train that cost 9 euros per adult. A great way to get your bearings. I loved it here, I felt safe as a solo traveller, and there was no problems at all.

    Perfect location to arrange trips around the island. 10 minutes drive from the airport. 15 minutes drive from Rhodes city downtown. Great number of facilities in the nearby access (cafes, restaurants, convenience shops etc.)

    This was our first visit to Ialysos, but it won’t be our last. The hotel and staff are lovely, there are dozens of wonderful restaurants within 10 minutes level walk and the food is wonderful. Cannot wait to return.

    The Greek people are absolutely lovely – everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The area we stayed in was full of restaurants, minimarkets, and rental cars. Sun, pool, and sea... what more could you ask for? :-) We’ll definitely be back!

    Lovely, spacious rooms, all fresh and clean, recently renovated. Guesthouse is located in calm and quiet area. Very good quality comfortable beds and pillows, nice and large balconies, especially those with garden view. AC equipment is new, so no dust or weird smell, very quiet, wifi works perfect, rooms have also washing mashine and laundry drying rack. Guesthouse is very close to the bus stop, so easy transfer to the main Rhodes city and the airport. Very flexible check in and check out hours

    The Penélope Hotel is well placed halfway between the airport and Rhodes old town. Well-appointed, nice pool area and decent restaurant. Staff were very helpful, particularly Oddette (sorted early check-in and taxis) and Julien (attentive and helpful in the bar and restaurant). Rooms are uncomplicated, but clean and our bed was very comfy. Location is quiet, but there's more going on nearby if required. We will stay here again whilst travelling for sure.

    Best hotel in rhodes! The staff are great, always trying to help with a smile on their face, the location is great! 5 min walk to the beach and to the bus station that take you to the center (it takes 10 minutes in the bus to get to the center great breakfast and the rooms are big. definitely recommend!
