The definition of 10/10! The private pool was great and very well organized. The house was beautifully decorated, with plenty of space and a big kitchen - even better than it looks in the photos. We can't wait to visit it again.

The Villa looks over the most beautiful bay and is located in a lovely part of southern Paxos, with its own pool. Such a gorgeous location. We loved watching the boats come in and swimming in the nearby beaches too. The property was very comfortable for a family of 4, fully equipped to cook with air conditioning, wifi, bbq and outdoor seating. The host went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely go back.

    It’s a tiny village not far from the main town on the island. There is a public bus service between the two. Lakka has plenty of cafés, bakeries, minimarkets, restaurants, and small shops. The town is a perfect spot for explorers who are looking for adventure, beautiful beaches, and safety all at once.

    Beautiful place, restaurants around the harbour and up the lovely little side streets. All the ones we tried were very good but Nionios was our favourite, the little touch of taking us into the kitchen to show what was on offer took me back 30 years, when I was last here. Really nice little bar on the front playing fabulous music. Walks around the area, to a couple of popular beaches and more remote ones. Would highly recommend it to anyone.

    A beautiful, clean village full of nice restaurants, but without any crazy nightclubs or tacky souvenirs. Paxos island is perfect for exploring beaches – it’s not overly touristy, and renting a boat to sail around the island

    I recommend Lakka instead of Gaios, Much better access for the beach, Harami is the best restaurant, but unfortunately only for lunch. Worth rent a chair near the restaurant, amazing food great staff. If you come once to Lakka you will get addicted.

    Delightful atmosphere. Good variety of places to eat. Very friendly shops, tavernas and accommodation. Getting there from Giaos on arrival with your luggage requires pre-booking a taxi as there's a shortage. You can't wheel your cases along most of the roads on Paxos - they're too rough so you'll need to be dropped off as close as possible to your accommodation. Lakka's beaches are lovely, with sand in the shallows so you can stand up comfortably. Avoid them across the middle of the day when the excursions boats are in as they get busy, but from 2pm they're quiet again.

    Lakka is a small fishing village with a touristy front line filled with tavernas and caffes. The people are very friendly and helpful, the food is homey and delicious, and there's a peaceful quality to the place. Everything is within walking distance, and if you need to go to Gaios, you can take the local bus. There are a few small pebbely beaches with quite beautiful waters, and a lot of boats. If you see sunbeds - they're probably for a cost of 8-10 euros for 2, be aware. You can hire a boat (in advance) and travel to different beaches along the coast of the island. If you want to calm down and unwind, Lakka is a great place for you. I fell in love with the peaceful quiteness of this village when visiting on a day trip a few years ago, and had to come back =)

    Everything was pretty much perfect. Location is excellent, right in the centre of the village near all the restaurants and bars and only 5 mins walk from the beach. Angela the host was super friendly and booked me taxis to (and from) Lakka. She also let me leave my suitcase in the office all day on my last day as I'd already checked out which meant an extra beach day for me! Very clean apartment. Simple, but good value for money.

    We just loved this place, the pool was gorgeous, the house was so well set up with a brilliantly appointed kitchen, plenty of towels. The seclusion is just perfect! Beautiful setting full of olive trees. (Best not to hire a big car for access but then again, best not to hire a big car on Paxos at all - we had scooters which were perfect. Georgia and Spiros are quite simply the most wonderful hosts ever!

    The position was really good middle of last Lakka but in quiet street nice outlook- property was small but reasonably equipped- wifi was not working initially but owners did everything to try and get it working and did so in end —lovely couple
