Zakharo is a small town near Kakovatos the little village where the Ostria Hotel Beach is located indeed. Zakharo is fantastic. The town's activity is between a beach town with restaurants, cafés, stores and an agricultural town with a lot of trucks and tractors crossing by. The bus station is not far from the center. I also walked on the Beach until the Ostria Hotel. It is quite a long walk. There are a few restaurants, the sunset is amazing.Guest review byRéginaFrance - 10.0

The house was equipped with everything (microwave, toaster, dish washer , washing machine, dryer, you name it). Salt , pepper , oregano , and oil were already in the cupboards, which are very helpful for short stays. I can not remember if we really missed something The beaches are very close and Zacharo too. It was clean, the staff was very welcoming and auxiliary and there are many tavernas nearby for you to choose. The matress/pillows were great and there is even a small fridge inside the room to keep you water cool. Breakfast was also very good, with many choices. Price was more th0an reasonable! The hosts are fantastic wholesome people who make sure you have everything you need to be comfortable. The apartment was impeccably clean as well as the whole complex with the pool being cleaned daily.
