The property is clean and very well equipped. It also has a washing machine and a dishwasher. It’s only 1 minute away from supermarket. The swimming pool is nice, good sized and clean. The property also has barbecue facility. Ana the host is amazing and helpful. She was answering my questions even before our arrival in Croatia. When we arrived I was amazed to find we have all the following in the property : salt, black pepper, coffee, Mint tea, camellia tea, large water bottle which was kept in the fridge to make it cold, dishwasher soap, washing machine soap, big oil bottle, olive oil. Literally the apartment had everything needed to make our stay comfortable. Me and kids say a big thank you to Ana.

Solin is quite and ideal for the more mature visitors to the Split area. Solin also has a good selection of Bars & Restaurant's and is better value and quality than I found in the centre of Split. It is easy to get in and out of Split using the local buses (Journey time 30 minutes) . Ideal location

Magnificent place, with a huge archaeologic site often regarded as Croatian Pompeii. Definitely a place to visit, located very close to Diocletian's palace (Split), and Klis fortress, as well as lot more attractions to visit and enjoy....

Solin is beautiful and I look forward to returning. I will recommend Solin to family and friends, especially the Hotel President Solin. Magnificent strolling parks, energetic nightlife, vibrant, lively, family-friendly, pet-friendly, precious flora & fawna and breathtaking church with singing, art and spiritual energy.

Tea was terrible for a 5 star, we had to go out as I couldn’t eat it. We had no towels in our room, glasses or a plug for out bath so within ten minutes we had to ask for all These things which you don’t expect to have to do. I also think for a 5 star you would get an iron and tea making facilities, the room just felt cold no little bits to make it feel welcome. The drive to the beach was over 15 mins which we did every day so ended up costing us more in the end. The pools where nice and the breakfast was good but that’s all I can say was good. We noticed a lot of kids and thought there’s nothing for them, no play area, no pool table nothing. This hotel could be so much better if a little thought and love went in to it. Old town is amazing loved it there, beaches are great we loved plaza Znjan beach the most, we eat at the monkey bar and beds where very cheap for the day.

Everything was great during our stay. The location is 20 mins away from Split old town, which was perfect for us. Most of our itinerary is not within the Split old town, and it keeps us away from traffic. It has a private parking space. We liked the apartment set-up; very spacious for three people. We did not intend to cook, but it was great to have cooking amenities available when needed. Very clean apartment. The area is quiet and perfect for our 4-day stay in Split.

The House in the Woods was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfortable. The owner was so friendly and helpful, we felt very welcome and well looked after. There was parking right outside and also facilities to do laundry which was a real bonus. I’d highly recommend staying. The drive into Split was only about 25 minutes. So you were close enough but nicely away from the hustle and bustle.

Every detail was thought of, the entire apartment and the house is exceptionally clean. Everything is new, which is not often the case. The hosts are lovely and hospitable. Short drive to Split, Trogir , various beaches. Must have a car. Highly recommended.

Both Hotel and Grounds are spacious in Solin 5km from centre of Split. Great location for a quiet relaxing holiday. Breakfast was excellent and all hotel staff were friendly.
