This area won’t be right for everyone.
This area won’t be right for everyone. My husband and I arrived after an extended trip to England and the Isle of Man. We were not in the mood for busy tourist areas. The Town of Aughrim is so sweet, and really gives you an idea of rural Irish life. There were enough things to see in the area for us, such as Avoca Woolen mills, Glendalagh Monestery, Russborough house, and Wicklow Town.Guest review byChristineUnited States - 10

I want to go back.
I want to go back. A wonderful old house in the country, not far from Aughrim. Beautiful countryside, amazing views from the house. The house is immaculate and interesting. Svetlana and Jeff have loved this house and it shows. Everything is chic, unique and amazing. This is not a hotel it is a piece of history and is so comfortable. I am going back in the summer to lounge on the deck and watch the sunset over the wicklow mountains.Guest review byCiaranIreland - 10

Martin is extremely helpful and kind, the place is carefully maintained in every detail and has everything you need for a relaxing stay in contact with nature.
