The woodlands is one of my favourite hotels. It caters for absolutely everyone. I loved the fire pits on the driveway in, it added a touch of class to the entrance. The petting farm is fabulous for the kids. The hotel itself is so warm and cosy with stunning decorations. Our room was amazing, so spacious and designed beautifully. The staff couldn’t do enough. Our meal was delicious. We absolutely loved the outdoor area, cabins with the stoves, Pizza , burger, coffee and icecream huts and finally the sports bar. Everything amazing.

The Park Inn Shannon Airport is ideally located just steps from the main terminal building of Shannon International Airport.

We arrived later than expected due to a flight delay. Unfortunately we were so late the restaurant was closed. This was not a problem as we were invited to order a take-a-way which we were allowed to eat in the bar. Both Marion on reception & with the help of Padraig this made us feel very welcome. We chose a place out of the way so as not to intrude on the other guests in the bar. But this was so nice as we were able to enjoy our quick dinner at a table, rather than eat in the room. The service overall was very warm from all staff in the bar & again at breakfast. Breakfast was great, I had the mini Irish breakfast which was perfect & just enough, the Porridge was also lovely. The beds were very comfortable to sleep in. The room was of a nice size for 2 people. There was some noise from traffic first thing in the morning (this was from a front facing room 205). Thank you to all, we look forward to a return stay.

Very clean rooms, friendly staff and great location - a good choice for travellers who need to get to the Shannon airport in the morning and fill up a rented car beforecreturning it - there's a station right next to the hotel. We loved the spaciousness and light of the design, the gorgeous antique furniture - we slept in an exquisite 4-poster bed. We loved the excellent, generous breakfast, with choices of cereal, yoghurt, two kinds of good bread and homemade jams, fresh coffee, etc. We also enjoyed the warm, personal welcome by the owner and her concern for our comfort and enjoyment. For instance she brought us plain youhurt and fresh fruit on request.
