Location, location, location!! "Seaview and Sunset" accurately represents the breathtaking views from this little place. It's situated on a hilltop, overlooking farmlands/cattle with the Atlantic on the western horizon. And you can enjoy these views from the cozy interior, thanks to a large bay window in the bedroom. The place was clean, and the kitchen had everything one might need for an extended stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Clare House. The room was large, very clean, and cozy, with gorgeous views of the surrounding countryside when you're outside. It's a perfect base for exploring the Cliffs of Moher, Ennistymon, and the nearby coastal villages—all just a short, scenic drive away. Guests should know this is a room in a private home, shared with a kind older gentleman who lives on-site. (He has all the knowledge you need to make your stay in the area absolutely phenomenal.) The bathroom is private and located in the hallway. Breakfast is light—a small, simple offering prepared in the morning, which worked well for us before heading out. The peaceful setting, the warm welcome, and yes, even the quiet presence of a couple of donkeys (Cindy and Daisy) nearby made it a charming and restful experience. No guarantee they'll be there as he's just boarding them for a friend for a while, but they were so affectionate and cute. P.S. Be sure to step outside and take in the views—absolutely breathtaking. You can feel the Atlantic winds sweeping the fog across the hills, shifting the landscape by the minute. It’s something you won’t forget.

The room was stunning and the tea/coffee facilities exceeded my expectations. I can't comment on the breakfast as I didn't book it but our friends told us the breakfast was excellent and good value for money. The restaurant is very good as well.

I stayed here on a trip with family to Lahinch for Willie Clancy week in Miltown. After visiting a few pubs Declan kindly organised a mini bus for our group & made sure we arrived safely. On the way home much later I was very surprised to see Declan standing outside the door waiting for us, what a host. He went well & truly beyond to help us. As for the hotel itself, excellent location on the main street. The rooms were modern, in excellent condition & spacious. We look forward to coming back & I highly recommend to anyone thinking of a vist to Lahinch 10/10

A friend and I stayed two nights at The Atlantic on our Wild Atlantic Way drive, and we couldn't have loved our stay more. The room and dining areas were clean and inviting - we especially loved sitting next to the fireplace during meals - and the food was excellent. Most importantly, the staff were incredible. Declan and Ashley set the bar for hospitality, with warmth, wit, and helpful advice for how to spend our days in that area. This was easily our favorite spot during our 10 days in Ireland; put it on your list!

What a lovely town. Went into Eugens for a whiskey tasting would highly recommend it. Eugene is a great guy thought me how to drink Irish Mist correctly, it was delicious. Paid a visit to the Falls hotel had a lovely irish coffee. The view of the cascades from the hotel are stunning. Attended an after wedding event at Pot Duggans what a great place. I would go back for their pizza any day it was fantastic.

Absolutely amazing property and one heck of a great breakfast. Our host I forget the gentlemans name welcomed my daughter and I into this beautiful property. At breakfast he gave us the history on the Station House which was very interesting and educated us on the history of the building. Our accommodations were spectacular and I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Great WiFi & parking right in the front. Do not hesitate if you’re in this area. Steve & Katia

I forgot to mention in my first review that our bed was so comfortable. And even though we had a difficult time in the beginning locating our room, we really did enjoy our stay. The view is stunning. The town is so sweet and quaint and charming. Everything was wonderful. The only thing was locating our room was a bit tricky. And a few of the Spa staff were kind enough to help us or point us in the correct direction to our room and our meals and drinks at the hotel bar was wonderful delicious and lovely and the staff were so friendly and helpful.

Ennistymon is my mother's family home.

Ennistymon is my mother's family home. On the anniversary of her death, we travelled there to celebrate her home and life. The town has changed a lot and is very welcoming to visitors. Amazing food is served in a fantastic eatery Byrnes. A great night with live music at Cooleys. The West coast of Clare is a true jewel in Ireland's crown. If you want to see Ireland at it's best and meet the loveliest and friendliest folk... then it is your destination. We did not want to leave.

Denis Vaughan is a very interesting gentleman. The experience of staying in his home was very interesting, full of stories and local history. You cannot find this type of experience in a hotel setting. This is the magic of County Clare as its rustic best, no frills , honest to God hospitality. Jim and Holly
