Although it was stated that there is no breakfast offered, the hosts have provided coffee, tee, fruits, pastries - simple, but so nice gesture. Thanks, this was lovely and very comfortable place to stay.

Our stay at Murphy’s Farmhouse Guesthouse was simply perfect. From the very first moment, we felt warmly welcomed and truly at home. The guesthouse has a genuinely family-like atmosphere, which makes it stand out in the best possible way. The breakfast was local, fresh, and plentiful – exactly what you hope for to start your day. There were several delicious options, all made with regional ingredients. We especially want to highlight the hosts, who went above and beyond to ensure that no wishes were left unfulfilled. Their dedication and kindness were remarkable, and it’s clear that guest satisfaction is their top priority. The pod 💛 me and two friends stayed here last weekend and it was amazing - the perfect cosy stay that we needed. Una was an incredible attentive host and really has thought of everything, would absolutely recommend and will be sure to stay again whenever we return to Kerry!!

    It's just 20 mins away from Kilarney National Park - which...

    It's just 20 mins away from Kilarney National Park - which we visited last (just the Waterfall) Perfect if you plan on visiting Ring of Kerry and wish to take a lap around it - we have managed to see all the highlights (northern-side, i.e. Cahersiveen, Valentia, ending on the Cliffs of Kerry, then driving through the south absolutely gobsmacked with the views) If you want to visit Ring Of Kerry we recommend 2 days there as we wish we spent more and explore South side - definitely visit Valentia and Cahersiveen (coffee at Lazy Cat with view at the cathedral and shopping in the near gift shop) The views or Ring of Kerry are spectacular - Canary Islands, Canada, Zakopane, Peru (one word: Ireland), all mixed up! BIG LOVE!

    The Biaconni was beautifully decorated and kept to a high standard, staff, food all excellent. I compelete the heritage walk around the town and it was so well signposted and it took in beautiful locations and scenery.

    I only stayed in Killorglin for one night.

    I only stayed in Killorglin for one night. It was not long enough. For a small town, it surely packs a punch for activities, scenery and dining. The locals I met were friendly and didn't mind a chat. I am looking forward to going through again and staying a wee bit longer to explore the area.

    Lovely town with all our needs.foot paths along the river. Very welcoming town. People friendly, helpful. The information center was especially helpful. Hearing about puck was a lot of fun, we had delicious meals, and unexpectedly good weather. We took an extra day to just rest and walk about town which was a perfect size for a day of pottering around. Highly recommend it

    Killorglin is an ideal place to stay when climbing...

    Killorglin is an ideal place to stay when climbing Carrauntoohil. About a 15 minute drive to the Hydro Road Car Park. Also very convenient for other Kerry mountains. I would recommend Soy Y Sombra, best tapas bar in the South West.

    It is a nice picturesque town on the River Laune.

    It is a nice picturesque town on the River Laune. It was an excellent location for 4 full days of hiking in the McGillycuddy's Reeks. For the evenings there were quite a few good restaurants and bars in which to dine and relax.

    Accommodation was very modern, clean and well equipped. Bed was very comfortable. We decided to walk into Killorglin for evenings and had amazing meals at 10 Bridge St (converted church only open Thurs to Sat) and The Bianconi Inn. During our time in Killorglin we managed to complete the Ring of Kerry, take a boat trip from Portmagee to Skellig Michael (fish platter at The Fisherman’s in Portmagee was great), visit Kenmare, do the Killarney National Park, and walk the Gap of Danloe. Our accommodation was well placed to do these trips 👍
