We had a wonderful time at Corrib Lodge The place is very clean and well-presented in a very stylish Italian design Boat rental and bikes are available at the property Top-notch hospitality from Guglielmo, the owner of the place. He is a very friendly guy with a great passion and knowledge for fishing. He is also a brilliant chef with a lot of experience in the kitchen We felt very welcomed here and would highly recommend this place to anybody looking for an amazing experience

The location is absolutely breathtaking. The host were welcoming and very helpful. The room had everything you need, very clean and we had a good night sleep as very quiet location. Great little town, friendly and welcoming. Lots of history, beautiful park and marked walk around the town. Free parking with plenty of space. Grocery store, butchers coffee shops, gas station, selection of great pubs and souvenir shops amongst others in the high street. Super little place.

Hasn’t changed since childhood holidays 48 years ago! People still very friendly and welcoming. Love the quick wit and sense of humour. Great village-style choice of pubs, food shopping, restaurants and gift shops. Sense of a real and supportive community. Everyone flexible and willing to help. Easy access from village to multiple sports and beautiful views.

Lovely village, friendly people and close enough to Galway...

Lovely village, friendly people and close enough to Galway City. We had a night out at Powers Thatch Pub and the food and service was excellent. The live music was a bonus, thoroughly enjoyed the Irish music.

This was a great place to explore the surrounding areas. It also has a castle in the area and an association with the film The Quiet Man. It is a friendly town with 2 supermarkets and a number of places to eat.

A cute small town with nice restaurants and cafes. A few nice shops. Nice place to stay I'd you're traveling around Connemara. It's about and hour to Kylemore Abby as well as to the ferry or airport that gets you to the Aran Islands. Definitely work a stop if you have some time. Powers is a wonderful pub and restaurant.

We were doing s tour of Ireland and as it was a Saturday all the hotels in the area were full so we booked the guest house. I think the lady who ran the guest house was called Patricia, she was very welcoming, friendly and knowledgable of amenities in the area. The guest house is situated just outside a lovely little town with a great thatched pub called Powers which served superb food. We would definitely stay again if we are in the area. By the way my husband said it wss the best Urush breakfast we had during the holiday

Quiet, nice place in a good location. Not far away from Connemara National Park that was our main point of the trip. Very clean and comfortable room. Very kind owners Breakfast very tasty. We would definitely recommend it for place to stay :)
