We stayed only one night but this was one of the most beautiful locations. The room was excellent and our evening meal in the restaurant was delicious and generous. A standout from our 17 days in Iceland.

The sauna and the hot tub were a pleasure, dining hall made us feel like a kings :D, also no light polution so we were able to see the aurora at it's best, no sound polution as well, the hostel is far enough from the main road, so there is nothing to disturb you

This is an annexe attached to the oldest hotel in town. We had the biggest room and a view as well. There was heaps of space for our bags and cold weather gear. (We had a lot) Breakfast was very good, in a basement dining room that was decorated with heaps of memorabillia. There was a private natural hot spring in the grounds that was nice and hot. Staff were lovely and did our washing for us.

Great spot to travel around. The place was very clean and nice. Very pleasant and kind host.

We loved our stay at Hestasport Cottages. Everything was extremely clean, the location was excellent, and we loved the hot tub in the center where we met the other travelers! Wifi was great, the beds were comfortable, and overall, we couldn't have asked for anything better.

I loved the clean and comfortable rooms, and the shared kitchen was well-equipped and convenient for preparing meals. The location was excellent, close to the beach and the charming town of Sauðárkrókur. The views from the top floor were stunning, and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
