It was perfect! WE loved that we could have breakfast in our room when we wanted, without having to get up in time for a fixed breakfast. The breakfast is perfect, fresh bread every day - what a treat! The room is big enough, bed is great, location is perfect - walking distance from everything. Highly recommended!

We stayed at CityHub Reykjavik in May 2025 and absolutely loved everything about it. The concept is modern, comfortable, and super practical. The location is excellent, the common areas are cozy and well-designed, and the self-check-in process was smooth and easy. A special thank you to the staff for the lovely birthday surprise they prepared in the room for my husband — it was such a thoughtful touch and made our stay even more memorable! There’s really nothing negative to mention. I would definitely recommend CityHub to anyone visiting Reykjavik, especially couples and travelers who appreciate style, comfort, and a unique hotel experience.

I stayed at this hotel in Iceland for six nights and was pleasantly surprised by how wonderful it was. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and comfortable. Very comfortable beds, super breakfast delivered directly to your room, and excellent service. Very nice, spacious and modern room. We also got some great recommendations on where to go and what to visit—things I didn’t find on Google. I liked the lounge with the honesty bar and its amazing view. It felt like an extended part of your room. The room was on the 20th floor - the highest building in Reykjavik – what a view! Just 5 min walk to the main street with restaurants and pubs. Enjoyed the stay very much!

People are very relaxed, helpfull and very pleasent.

People are very relaxed, helpfull and very pleasent. The city is not large, can be walked accross. We had not much time for excursions, 'couse it was a business trip, we tried to see the aurora, but no luck )-:. Also visited the Blue Lagoon, nice experience. In all, it is a nice place to visit, but too expensive for my taste.

There are lots of little streets to discover with hidden gems be it for food or shopping there is plenty of choice ,we ate at Reykjavik fish restaurant its just beside rainbow road, the prices are reasonable and the food is great, parking is no problem in the city just keep driving till you see a spot .Sightseeing in the city with the cool looking church at night lit up. The lighthouse is about 15 mins drive were you might catch the norther lights. We had a four day stay so much of our time was travelling south.

Reykjavik is quite easy to walk around in the downtown core.

Reykjavik is quite easy to walk around in the downtown core. Pretty buildings, great shopping, lots of restaurant choices, etc. We loved going to the pools and it was a good place to start our tour of Iceland. Prepare for expensive restaurant meals, but everywhere we ate was delicious. We enjoyed the whale museum, lava centre, museum of Iceland, and the Perlan (the only northern lights we got to see on our trip!).

My son and I traveled to Iceland for a 5 night vacation, staying in Reykjavik for a total of 3 nights. What a wonderful, safe, friendly city! We stayed downtown in 2 different areas, both walkable to the many museums, restaurants, and shopping districts. Reykjavik is colorful, with buildings and street art abundant. Reykjavik is also expensive, as is all of Iceland, so prepare to spend almost double for food, drink, and gifts as you would in the U.S. That being said, I loved it, and will be back!

I loved walking around the city and seeing the sites.

I loved walking around the city and seeing the sites. Especially enjoyed drinking water from the tap and not relying on plastic water bottles. Blue Lagoon was a relaxing treat for my whole body. Also did the 11 hour Golden Circle tour which was fun and educational as was the Reykjavík walking food tour. Definitely try the local pastries as they are delicious. The Volcano Express ride in the Harpa Concert Hall was so much fun and I highly recommend it. The only downside to this trip is how expensive everything is in Iceland.

We had the best time at Storm Hotel, it was perfect for what we wanted. There's a bus stop just in front of the hotel where all the tours around Iceland stop, including the ones to the northern lights and the airport, so we couldn't be happier. The hotel is also just a 5-10 minute walk to the city center, so it's also perfect to visit the city. The room had everything we needed for a lovely stay. Iceland is amazing and we want to be back as soon as possible and whenever we come back, we will stay at Storm Hotel.
