Beautiful small little town, loads of restaurants within walking distance. The castello di Arco is amazing - worth a visit. Loved Antica Corte for pizza and carne salada. Really enjoyed SpaghettiHaus for delicious pasta & pizza. Alla Lega for a fancier dinner. Bar BuonGusto, very close to the apartment was wonderful for my morning cappuccino & brioche, run by a very lovely family, also has other breakfast & meal options. As a climber - Arco is a 'fine' place to stay.
As a climber - Arco is a 'fine' place to stay. Parking is a pain unless you have a space. Crags are relatively convenient but there are better places to visit in the EU than here. The town is great. Food is 'easy'. The BEST place is definitely -Ristorante Il Ritratto di Aldo Tiboni - GREAT FOOD and STAFF! Tons of climbing stores. Great public pool. Arco is a lovely town, on the river and quite near to Lake...
Arco is a lovely town, on the river and quite near to Lake Garda. It has a beautiful square where there is often live music, with churches and some fine buildings. Plenty of restaurants and gelateria, and other shopping infrastructure. The castle on the hill is worth a visit - but wait until the weather is cooler, as it is quite a climb!! If you love mountains Arco is a paradise.
If you love mountains Arco is a paradise. Very nice and friendly town located in the heart of beautiful Alps. Great for outdoor enthusiasts, if you love hiking or cycling you will find it a great base, with the added benefit of many great outdoor equipement shops. The town is just big enough to offfer a lot of bars, restaurants, shops and services, yest small enough to forget about your car and just walk around. She met us in person, showed the car garage and then the apartment (also told a few things about the town and area). The apartment is very new, clean and had everything needed inside (e.g. in the kitchen for cooking). The location is great, just in the city center, so very close to all of the activities.
