This was an absolutely stunning historic property with 5 star facilities. Loved my day at the Beach Club . The staff on reception were always extremely friendly , helpful and informative . This is very important when you are a woman travelling alone . I’m very grateful for their help and u distancing . It was also quite amazing to see the beautiful ancient olive trees in the property - put 900years old . What an honour to be in their ( olive trees) company .

An excellent hotel in a quiet situation which although "out of a main town" was very convenient for visiting all the major sites around the area by car. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating and the management were also very visible and obviously cared how the hotel was run and did everything to make the stay a very pleasant one. The food at both breakfast and dinner was good with a fairly large selection. Overall I would recommend this hotel

Because of that hotel I absolutely relaxed and charged myself with positive energy, the staff was the friendliest I have ever experienced. Liked everything! The staff is wonderful, the rooms are cozy and comfortable, the bed is beyond reproach. The kitchen is perfect every day. I was surprised by the quality and presentation of the food. Beach near the hotel. Very nice and wonderful staff, I was impressed with their service. I will coming back to this hotel. Monopoli is a calm, clean city with lots of great restaurants and a nice historic center as well as a coastline. It was a great base centrally located so we were able to travel to Bari, Matera, Alberobello, Lecce, Polignano a Mare and Ostuni.

Perfect for day and half-day trips interspersed with...

Perfect for day and half-day trips interspersed with relaxing in town. Train station is a 17 minute walk and connects you with so many places in Umbria. Eat at il guezzato (sp?), my wine, and get gelato often from gelateria porta del mare.

We loved Monopoli Old Town and Port area unfortunately when we visited the beach area it was under going construction work but once this is finished the area will be stunning. Monopoli was a great base to visit other towns along the coast we travelled by train which were great and so easy to use.

Beautiful old town, with a huge number of restaurants and bars. Food was excellent throughout. Staff everywhere were exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to help. We visited in September and it was very busy - We can only imagine it is too crowded and too hot in peak summer months. Be aware that beaches are small, but there are a number of them, within walking distance, or by taxi to larger beach clubs. The old town is really beautiful, with tiny streets, squares and alleyways. Worth packing comfy shoes and just wandering.

Monopoli was a perfect base for us to see Puglia.

Monopoli was a perfect base for us to see Puglia. Loved getting lost in the maze of narrow streets in the Old Town. Recommended Calette Torre Cintola to a couple staying at our hotel and they loved it as well. Also Recommended Micasa which has great location, friendly staff and great food at reasonable prices.

The old town is super cute!

The old town is super cute! some great artisan stores and even a great vintage clothing store! The dining scene is excellent and ranges from rustic homey feel to more upmarket but all very affordable! Great wines flow from all bars and restaurants. Osteria Perricci and Bar Pizzeria Restaurant Porto Rosso were among favourites for food.

It is a cosy, clean, comfortable house. Louisa is a very kind and helpful host. Monopoli is the best place to stay if you will be travelling around Puglia and this house is at a very good location, 5min walk to the train station, 700m to one of the best beaches.
