Probably our favourite hotel in our 2 week Japan trip! The room was very clean and enormous (which was a great treat after several small rooms) and the huge bathtub was perfect after long days of exploring. Super close to Hiroshima station, a bit of a walk to the main sights which wasn’t an issue for us, but there are lots of transport links close by. Would definitely stay there again!

I really like the hotel, its between a hotel and a airbnb, everything was well thought and easy to follow. Room was great size, had micro and fridge, kettle extra plates and cups. Downstairs free espresso machines and free washing machine. Had all the amenities. Had a good time and a great sleep

Well this is some hotel !!! Right in the heart of the station , easy to get to but slightly tricky to find first time in such a huge station ! The staff are brilliant and we should have gone for a bigger room as ours was ok and as we had a big tour trip the next day we stuck as we were and it was fine. The breakfasts were sensational and happy hour was brilliant….it was 3 pm to 7 pm and all free drinks and snacks ! Lovely location, great funny staff and all brilliant !!!

The staff at night that checked us in knew zero english, although after some back and forth we were able to get it done. The over all facility was amazing, i wish i could keep it a secret because of how nice it is but i cant help but share. We had the room with the dry sauna and it was amazing, we used it every knight we were there. I hope to visit Y-Hotel on my next visit. Only complaint is that we didnt have enough nights im Hiroshima, next time we’ll make sure to stay longer.

Nice hotel in a quiet neighbourghood and a few blocks away from Hiroshima station on foot (10 minutes). Japanese style room with all the amenities of a home. The staff is very helpful but at the same time quite discret.

    We thought our trip, which lasted 2 days was just about...

    We thought our trip, which lasted 2 days was just about right, maybe one more day would have been good. We visited the bomb site and museum on the first day which is a must. The second day we had a trip to Miyajima island which was really worth the effort. We went over on a ferry using our Suica card which also paid for the train. We took the cable cars to the peak of the mountain. The famous temple gate in the sea was really worth seeing both at low and high tides.

    Great location and easy to navigate.

    Great location and easy to navigate. It is more than the Atomic Dome albeit the importance of this site, the people, culture and friendliness of people in Hiroshima is the real charm. Would definitely return.

    Everyone should go to Peace Park.

    Everyone should go to Peace Park. There is so much to see there and it is very nicely done. Warning that children should be prepared for the museum and displays. It was difficult as an adult, but very glad I went. Garden by castle was beautiful.

    Very impressed with the peace memorial , museum and surrounds. Walking distance between all sights. Easy to walk to sights , lots of great places to eat and shop. So much better value than Tokyo or Osaka Great place to spend a day at Miyajima and return to. Very happy we spent two days here . Very easy to get around , great public transport and a very walkable city. Must try the Hiroshima pancakes - fun watching them Make them in front of you .

    Hiroshima was a lovely city of history and culture and an opportunity as a base to do additional day trips to other cities to experience more of the Japanese culture. We experienced very humid conditions in September so would look at the cherry blossom time when returning

    The city was a great inspiration.

    The city was a great inspiration. With not that many tourists around, Hiroshima stays authentic. We loved our day passes for public transport as they came in handy and even included a ferry to Miyajima island!

    The hotel is located in the heart of Hiroshima, few minutes walk from the tramway and the shopping / dining street and in a neighborhood with plenty of great dining options. The check-in was fast and easy, the room perfectly clean, spacious, and silent with plenty of connectivity options. The bathroom had a shower instead of the usual bathtub. Also breakfast was amazing with plenty of options both western and Japanese style. Highly recommended!

    The room was simple, but clean and had everything you need. Check in was super easy and took less than 2 minutes. The rooftop bar is great, as is the restaurant underneath the hotel. Was the perfect location for everything that we did (castle, memorial museum, ferry to Miyajima) and easy to get to/from hiroshima station.
