Morning walk along the waterway when there were not many tourists was peaceful and enjoyable. The are lots of small shops on the main street, but might be too crowded to enjoy. We went to Yufuin and Beppu, Yufuin by the touristy train (book a month earlier and reserve your seats!), then we took the bus from Yufuin to Beppu and did the onsen tours on our own by bus. Excellent location.
Excellent location. Not far from Fukuoka and we drive all the way from the airport within 2 hours. Best retreat so far and we will definitely go back in different seasons. Driving to places are simple and easy. Can go to mountain hike or the lake areas.Guest review bychristinaHong Kong - 8.0

Room size is good and TV has YouTube channel. The staff speaks good English too. I reached Yufuin station at 4.50pm and wanted to take a taxi to the hotel. However there were so few taxi there. I called the hotel and they are so kind to send a transport to pick us up although I have missed the scheduled shuttle service time.
