My one night stay at CnC BnB-Kimana was fantastic. The host was very welcoming, something that made me believe that I was in the right place. The place is very very secure. I did not have to worry about the security of my car. About cleanliness, I would award the place an A* I highly recommend the place to any traveler who values comfort, cleanliness and security, among others.

A tranquil place in the middle of savanna with magnificent views on Kilimanjaro, birds singing since early morning on acacia trees and amazing people who make this please special and take care of you like of their own friends. We arrived in Emali and were picked up by a taxi and brought directly to the camping. We booked four nights in a tent but as we had no car and our backpacks would probably not fit in a tent, we had to change for a house (additionally paid). This place is very safe, surrounded by an electric fence, gate closed for the night and security (Sam) is always there for you. Brian (Lerionka) is a great host (he together with Sam and my husband organized beautiful birthday for me), an awesome cook (his food was delicious) and tour guide - he knows so much about the nature and enjoys sharing his passions with guests. We went on one-day Safari in Amboseli organized by Brian with a guide Isak (very competent guide with years of experience, highly recommended), walking tour (spotting zebras) on savanna next to the camping, hiking on foothill of Kili and even a cooking lesson with Brian. If you would like to relax, spend time in nature, enjoy the views of top of Kilimanjaro and get an authentic experience in Kimana and Oloitokitok, you should definitely stay longer than 2 nights. AA Lodge has an incredible location! Just a few kilometres from kimana gate, and with stunning views of Kilimanjaro from across the property! The cottage we stayed at was spacious, clean, and well-equipped. They had a lot of choice in food for each meal and it was very tasty! We saw some beautiful birds and small animals within the property during our stay.

David and his family (parents, wife and children) are so so sweet. The moment you enter, you feel like you belong to the family. It's a real homestay experience, and nice it has a good toilet and shower. David and his father showed me around. With David I went to the market together, took our bikes to the border and his wife makes amazing tasty Kenyan food that is included in the price! The room you sleep in is comfortable, and they will do anything to make you feel home and happy. When I am around, this is going to be my place to go for sure.

Wilson and the other guys were very nice, they helped us so much with everything starting with how to get to their place from Nairobi, finding the right Matatu and they sent us a Boda Boda (motorbike pickup) and organized our two game drives which were great! The place is very calm and located in the middle of local villages with many farms, goats and cows around. The hotel area was very nice with a lovely garden and each hut has it's own little veranda with a view at Mt. Kilimanjaro (when its not too foggy). After dinner we enjoyed a nice fire and had a great conversation with the guys and were petting the lovely dogs (Morio - we miss you!)
