We were traveling around Issyk-Kul Lake with our three young children, searching for a quiet and beautiful place to stay. When I came across Taberik, I was initially hesitant — the place had no reviews, and traveling with kids, comfort is our top priority. But the location looked so stunning that I decided to take a chance. And I’m so glad I did — Taberik exceeded all our expectations. We were warmly greeted by Meyrambek, the owner, who welcomed us with tea and cookies and shared that they had just opened for their very first season. The entire place is brand new and built with great attention to detail. The setting is breathtaking: nestled at the foot of a mountain, surrounded by untouched nature, with yurts and cozy cabins scattered across the land. The cabins have heating, hot water, and high-speed internet via Starlink, which was a pleasant surprise given the remote location. The interiors are thoughtfully designed — wooden furniture, natural materials, spotless cleanliness, and a cozy atmosphere. You can immediately feel that a lot of care, resources, and investment went into creating this place. We passed by several other guesthouses along the way, and honestly, none of them came close to Taberik. It’s truly a different level of comfort and beauty. There’s also a stunning waterfall nearby, adding to the magic of the place. This location touched my heart so deeply that I couldn’t resist writing this review — and I don’t do that often. Everthing was perfect. Location, receptionists, rooms, epecially breakfast. Coffee from coffee machine. Large, airy rooms, air condition, view, everything clean as they mentioned in offer.

The bed! So comfortable! I could sleep for 11 hours in a row (the night after the Ala-Kul 2 days trekking)

This was a great guesthouse only 10 minutes from the center of Karakol. The owners are extremely kind and spent time to get to know us and talk to us. They also helped us arrange transportation to the local ski resort at a much more reasonable price than we could find ourselves. Couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Everything was great. Yurd and view were amazing. Also very delicious breakfast. Specially stuff. I loved this family so much. They are very kind and helpful people. I advise all travelers to go this yurd. You will love it. Thanks for everything 🙏🏻

The host Mars was the most friendly person we met and he went out of his way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible.

Very clean, modern and spacious top floor apartment very centrally located in Karakol. I received exceptionally good and clear instructions from Almaz for how to find the apartment and check in. Communication was also excellent throughout my stay. I had a wonderful 3 night stay and can highly recommend this apartment.
