Resort was great… only disappointing thing was that pool/bar area had been promised to be complete by March 1 and we left April 2 and it’s still at least a month from opening… pool is open but adjoining bar/patio area under construction.

Great location in the gourmet food town of Grand Cade. Worth a trip there just to try the excellent restaurants. Hevea is under going renovations that promise to be amazing when finished. The new owners are very helpful and friendly. Great find!

It was very comfortable. Everything in the accommodation was very clean. I had all I needed for my stay .The location was very close to the beach which made my stay even more better. The host was very kind and so very helpful. He made the stay even more better. I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a quiet and safe location that is close by the beach.

The owner's very friendly "representative" met us at the studio, showed us around the unit, explained everything, gave us contact numbers, suggestions on restaurants etc., and the building entry/exit procedure - very thorough! The kitchen was well stocked with what you'd need for basic cooking, and there was ice-cold bottled water in the frig. The studio was cozy, comfortable, and perfect for our visit! The view in the evening was lovely! We would be happy to stay there again. OTHER NOTES: The studio is right on beautiful Grand Case beach and is a "stone's throw" from some really good restaurants... Le Temps des Cerises (great breakfast & lattes), Captain Frenchy (everything we had was yummy, super nice staff), Rainbow Cafe (pretty place and great view) and Koho (interesting menu). A coffee bar is right there as well but was closed for the off-season. Other restaurants are about a 5+ minute walk away.

Location is very good, near gran case and close to marigold. There is a very nice BBQ outside which we were allowed to use. The family seemed very friendly. It's a great property for 1-2 Nights for 2 ppl max. Good internet. ac working ok and clean. The kitchen is well equipped. The style of this little house is very pleasant. Plenty of parking place. Quiet area at night so you will sleep fine. The owner may offer a car to rent too.

Location!!!! This is right on the beautiful beach. The balcony is right above the water and you hear the sound of the waves. The location could not be better than this.

This spot is a great getaway for couples. The location which is a walking distance down the beach from Grand Case is away from the crowds and tourists of the southern part of St. Maarten. The french food, pastries, and local foods are delicious. The people are very friendly and helpful with directions and inviting.

The water was beautiful and the apartment on a perfect...

The water was beautiful and the apartment on a perfect location but there’s still so much destruction from Irma on Grand Case. Also lots of businesses closed. Not many stores or restaurants to stroll by

Had an amazing stay at Akunamatata and would highly recommend it. The house was clean and spacious and only a few minutes from the Main Street of Grand Case and the beach. The kitchen had everything you needed while away. The outdoor area was relaxing and the bed very comfortable. Although we were sharing the house with other people it was a perfect place to stay. Thank you to Jamal for being so accommodating!

The apartment is beyond comfortable, well equipped kitchen, comfy bedroom, air con, washing machine, light and open space. We couldn’t recommend a stay at this apartment more, it was clean, comfortable and had the most kind host who was flexible and welcoming. Thank you for such a great stay. If we ever are back in Grand Case. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay!!
