    Xlendi is a very pretty cove, which has an amazing impact as soon as you see it. There is a shallow end perfect for young children. The bars and restaurants are literally on the sea front so you can sit and have a drink and watch the family in the water. Although there is not much sand at the front the easy access ladders from the rocks at the side more than make up for that. Because of the rocks it is brilliant for snorkeling. It felt very safe and well cordoned off from leisure boats. There are also several water activities on offer from here.

    We love Xlendi which we use as a base and travel or walk the island. Most restaurants are good and some are special. Not suitable for just a beach holiday although, good for swimming and diving. Excellent public bus transport or use taxis. Locals are all very friendly.

    The ice cream beside the hotel was super.

    The ice cream beside the hotel was super. The restaurants I tried (out of season ) were very good). I loved the fresh fish and would liked to have seen the fish on show with an individual euro price for each. It’s the genuine way forward. I liked Terszzo but expensive for what they produced but of course I realize I was paying for that delightful view. I used the bus and that was really good value. The local people were a delight and very kind.

    Xlendi is a beautiful village by the sea.

    Xlendi is a beautiful village by the sea. I was there for the second time. It is worth staying there for a few days, go to the watchtower by the sea for sunset, walk to the small cave by the water. Eat seafood in one of the restaurants by the bay.

    My husband and I are senior travelers and although he is fit...

    My husband and I are senior travelers and although he is fit, I have mobility issues. I found the local people so helpful and courteous, helping me up and down steps to shops, restaurants, etc. I recommend getting a taxi to Xlendi - we got one from Valletta and it was about 35 euro including tip. There are five or six restaurants along the sea front and a few shops. The restaurants were all good, and we especially liked the Moby Dick just downstairs from our apartment. If one is there to write or paint this is a good place to come but if one wants to lie on the beach there are better options. We spent two days there and that was plenty. We then hired a guide to take us around Gozo which took about 5 hours with stops at all the right places and then the taxi took us straight to our ferry. The taxi with a guide was about 120 euros but saved time and energy and was great fun with no hassle.

    Like all areas of Gozo, the towns are very small and filled with desirable shops and restaurants. Xlendi is a lovely area and the views are incredible. The restaurants are good and the people in the shops are so kind. Especially the locals who work around there are very welcoming.

    Gorgeous authentic property refurbished to impeccable standard of decor and hygiene. Owners/staff offering excellent customer care. Personal drinks service offered around the pool area. Complimentary water each day in the rooms. Lovely fragrance around the hotel, comfortable soft furnishings promoting relaxing ambience. We loved the location, 2 mins drive from Xlendi Bay with its quaint restaurants and 5 mins drive from the lovely town of Victoria.

    Doreen and the team made us feel very welcome and attended to our every need. The breakfast was excellent with a continental selection as well as a freshly cooked meal. The location is perfect being a short walk from Xlendi bay which has many great restaurants. We only stayed for two nights and wish we could had stayed longer. I would highly recommend if you are planning a relaxing stay in Gozo.
