The view of the ocean is just breath taking I had an amazing time and will sure return in the future

My girlfriend and I stayed one week at the Emerald. As you land onto the Emerald docks from a seaplane, the hotel's staff welcomes you with a big smile and says "welcome to paradise." Although it sounds a bit cliche, they couldn't be more right: Emerald and the Maldives are paradise on earth. I've stayed at my fair share of hotels and resorts and this one wins them all. We would like to thank the following team members at Emerald for making our stay incredible: - Dave, our host who planned everything in advance (restaurants, diving, fishing, etc) and took us wherever we wanted on the island with his golf cart. - Yossi, for making an immaculate room every single day (and sometimes multiple times a day). - Janna, for coaching through our Open Water Diver PADI. Jenna is an exceptional young lady. - Fayaz, for welcoming us to and giving a tour of the island. You can book your stay with Emerald without worries because they will make your trip unforgettable.

Wow what a great holiday. We have travelled the world and still cannot beat the Maldives. At Reefi Faru the attitude of the staff really made the holiday experience special. Special thanks to the barmen Janaka and Sadeep, all the waiters in the main restaurant such as Shareef and Nazeem and our amazing the room cleaner. What amazing staff. The place is amazing too. See pics. The food is out of this world, with the chefs working tirelessly and invisibly in the background to produce exciting food every day with international themes.

value for money, location, friendly staff and wonderful food

I didn't plan to post all my photos and write this much, but... I cannot skip it. I have visited many countries, many top hotels, and resorts, but nothing compares to Joali Being. From the moment you arrive at the airport, until the last step, everything is organized as a perfect 10/10. Where to begin? The resort is new and probably the most modern in the Maldives. I thought UAE had the best hospitality, but no place has even come close to the professionalism of the staff here. The food is top-notch. I ate the best steak, breakfast, and much more. I would write what I recommend, but probably it's worth trying anything. Even though you have to pay for most of the activities, including for simply using the tennis field, I strongly recommend doing the organised activities, because the experience is unique and incomparable. I am very sorry that I skipped many of them, until I had the first ones and realized how they do things. The houses are impeccable, very inspirational in terms of architecture and design. I could write more, but... will leave just this: if you have a chance to try this resort, even for just 4-5 days, try it and it will inspire you for life about how things should be done. We chose the Maldives for our 10th wedding anniversary trip. Among the numerous hotels and resorts in Maldives, our choice was the standard huruvalhi. This is because for us, The Standard has always been full of pleasant and enjoyable times. Beautiful natural environment, emerald lagoon, colorful corals and fish, blazing sun, hot but not humid air, blowing breeze, appropriate lounge music, sensible interior design and furniture arrangement, The Standard’s unique mood, friendly staff smiles and Even the greetings, our 3rd The Standard was fantastic. Although this place is located in a place where you have to take a seaplane, all procedures from Male Airport to hotel check-in are carried out under the guidance of staff. The seaplane fare is reasonable, and if you trust the guide, you will arrive at the hotel before you know it. No hassle at all. We arrived early in the morning, but were quickly assigned a room thanks to the friendly staff. I would like to say thank you to Eva (Korean) who was in charge of us. I was especially grateful for the attention to detail that made it possible for me to have a hassle-free stay during my stay. Even though she was busy with work, her willingness to always smile brightly and kindly and tell us even one more thing to satisfy customers was impressive. I think she will be able to play an even bigger role as the Korean market expands in the future. We were on an all-inclusive meal plan, so we had fresh, delicious food and cocktails for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We mainly used kula for breakfast, todis for lunch, and enjoyed Beru, BBQ shak, guduguda, and romantic dinner course for dinner. Every meal and menu was impeccable and I was amazed at how fresh the ingredients were sourced from a small remote island in the Indian Ocean. Each restaurant had its own unique atmosphere and taste, and especially the mood at sunset will remain as a truly good memory.
