What a lovely accommodation. We were upgraded to an iglo. It felt so warm and cosy and everything you need is there. The bed is VERY comfortable. The staff is fantastic and very helpful. Would highly recommend staying there

We so loved the peaceful surroundings and the quiet. It has a lovely relaxed and homely feel. We stayed for two nights but could easily have found plenty to explore with a few more days.

Really great and quiet area, close to the beach, and Lake Mahinapua. Also just opened up shared kitchen so everything was new, the staff where also very helpful.

We loved our stay here! The location was perfect for a trip to Hokitika Gorge and the adjacent restaurant was great. The room was much larger than we expected and super clean and comfortable. There was tea and coffee provided and everything we needed was available.

Hokitika Pioneer Hotel is an old style country pub with attached accommodation. With a casino, the property also features a garden. Guests can dine in the in-house restaurant or relax in the bar.

Staff was super nice, room and facilities were great, central location, room had its own sink, mirror and portable heater which was awesome. Also connected to a nice pub which has a good selection.

New, clean, lot of space, chalet very comfortable and enough equipped, common areas very pleasant, all facilities, big salon (with TV), playground for kids well equipped. Territory split between campers and chalets. Excellent place for a great stay at Hokitika

It was 4 small family maintained units. We stayed only one night as were passing through to Queenstown. The hosts were very friendly. We left behind our son's bag. Sharyn (host) was kind enough to post it to our next destination. Thanks Sharyn.
