It was short couple break which was planned last minute. We decided to spend it in Qatar, but in a quiet area far from city centre and diplomatic area . Although The OQ was attractive logo, there were only few reviews that can help to make a decision to stay there in such special break, but the price and photos of high floors and sea views were attractive… and thanks God the reality was beyond our expectations. As soon as we arrived, we were welcomed with that lovely smile, warm reception and chat from Sufian, Hajar, Yasin and all the guys at the entrance associated with big wows about the OQ decoration and beauty. The team choice of our suite 1103 was another story started from the spacious area,balcony sea views and the suite’s decoration and ambiance completed by special warm and gentle welcoming card, complementary sweet tray and red flowers bouquet from the famous name in hotels’ hospitality Chole Chlala (The OQ GM) which took our breath away:) Mr.Rashaunt’s touch for the red flowers on the bed, Ms. Prushanthani housekeeping team leader added some special warm feelings as soon as we entered. This hotel is out of this world beautiful, modern, and overall spectacular. From the lobby with its record breaking chandelier to the modern technology used in the rooms, elevators, bathrooms, gym. Outdoor swimming pool has a spectacular view of the building and is very quiet and relaxing. Rooftop bar view is breathtaking! Bonus points for allowing Fairmont guests to use all the facilities of the Raffles hotel in the second tower for free. This place is the future Burj al Arab, in a few years room rates here will be thousands of EUR/USD!

Each moment spent here was a continuation of that dream. The room was perfect—isolated for privacy, with a stunning view (Pool and Entertainment Area). The restaurant and facilities were exceptional, and the hotel’s location was ideal for me. The pools and overall design of the hotel added to the experience, and the cleanliness was impeccable. The supportive staff were present everywhere, making our stay even more enjoyable. I am still amazed at the value for money; this is a 7-star hotel offered at the price of a 3 or 4-star establishment. I would definitly return to the Staybridge Suites (Doha Lusail by IHG) when the opportunity arises. The staff, particularly Syrine and Chadi, is incredibly friendly and accommodating. The hotel is in a great location (Lusail Marina), the accommodation is luxurious, and the breakfast - especially the croisant, is one of the best in Doha. Anyone searching for comfort, convenience, and first-rate service should absolutely stay at this hotel, in my opinion.

Upon our arrival, Juan greeted us warmly—friendly, youthful, yet precise in his welcome. The room was beautiful and spacious, and the breakfast was absolutely divine. In the evening, there was a small misunderstanding with the taxi, which was my fault, but Sandra at reception handled the situation calmly and professionally resolving everything and expertly upselling us by guiding us to the bar. There, Margarita took over and dazzled us with the secret cocktail menu. Upon our departure, Ádám assisted with check-out, also greeting us with a big smile and helpful attitude. We thank the entire team and congratulate the management—this was an unforgettable experience, and we will definitely return.
